Personal attacks and the code of conduct.

What about personal attacks against WotC? Are these against the Code of Conduct? Should I be reporting them? Because it seems like responding to those attacks gets ORC'd, but not the attack itself.

Besides which, making attacks against other posters creates a hostile atmosphere and drives people away from these forums. Attacking a company, well other than inciting some overly-sensitive people to make personal attacks, doesn't really do much of anything.

Nov 02, 2012 22:37:27 The important thing to remember is that we're people, too. If you feel a post violates the Code of Conduct, whether it is directed at a community member, a Wizards staff member, or anyone else for that matter, please report it.

That said, we do generally have pretty thick skins, so also consider whether the post in question is disrupting the thread.
