Posting assistance..please!

Jan 12, 2011 10:08:25 For the life of me I cannot find the correct place to post a thread to ask for new players in my area. I tried "The tavern" thinking a 'social gathering area' would be the apprpriate area to post such a thread. Instead I ran into a bunch of orcs, goblins, bugbears, and other hideous and less than savery characters who were not helpful, unkind, full of themselves, and have no life (yes I'm hoping some of them read this).

In any event, I'm looking for player s in my area and need to know the proper place in these forums to post such requests w/o running into the same type of characters.

Please help.

The Tavern seems to be the place where people post most of these threads and the regulars there don't appreciate the clutter. This doesn't excuse any poor behavior, of course. I am a regular there as well and when I see threads of this nature I make sure to point the OP in the right direction - and I'd have done the same for you were I online yesterday. I'm sorry I missed your thread. At any rate, a lot of the regulars there are actually quite helpful. Jus' sayin'. ;)

EDIT: Just saw the thread and the info was given in post six. Oh well.

Yes, some of us did read that.
Evidently, you were too lazy or uneducated enough to look for the correct place for your thread.
The Tavern has seen enough of those threads that we no longer have the patience for them.
Feel free to come back to the Tavern and join in any discussion, just don't post threads looking for people to game with.
You may find some of us are not as bad as you suppose... and you may find some of us to be worse.
