| #1Joseph_SilverJun 23, 2009 20:30:04 | So I went to Borders yesterday to pick up a copy of the Eberron Player's Guide, only to find out that they just sold the last copy minutes ago and that the next shipment isn't due until weeks later. Well, I guess this means that the EPG is doing well if it's selling out at stores. I'll just play Magic Online until then. |

I don't mean to sound smarmy, but... clearly you have internet access, and I know Borders has a website. Why not buy it online? |
| #4Loki5654Jun 24, 2009 10:38:39 | Pardon me, but this sounds more like an issue with Border's not ordering enough copies and less like Wizards not printing enough. Shouldn't you go to a Border's message board and complain there first? |

They also didn't get it until yesterday. Barnes and Noble got 2 copies, they have even more copies of the other 4e books on the shelves. EPG's are in short supply. |
| #8pyro_azerJun 26, 2009 10:46:26 | EPG's are in short supply. Most likely this is just because they are new. The stores do not want to order a bunch until they are sure of a demand and there are more of the other books because they have been out for a while. |

The stores do not want to order a bunch until they are sure of a demand and there are more of the other books because they have been out for a while. Borders and Barnes and Noble always order new 4E D&D books because they are consistent sellers. TiwazTyrsfist specifically mentioned that his FLGS received less than they ordered. I have seen much more hype for the EPG than there was for the FRPG, probably because it is the first 4E Eberron book. It is possible WotC printed too few, but it sounds like a problem with distribution. |
| #10ArtifactJun 28, 2009 10:02:38 | The local hobby shop was sold out of the EPG when I visited recently but the local bookseller had two copies on hand. Only time I've ever had a problem buying a D&D hardcover (on first-try at least). There are a few places I can choose from to purchase and I've never had a problem. I prefer local sellers over internt buying (which I use only as a last resort). If I absolutely, positively have to have a copy, I'll actually pre-order from the hobby shop or the bookstore (I buy 50/50 from both). I'll prolly do this when the PH 3 comes out (since PH 2 did so well, I expect more of the same next time around). |

| #12hotheadJun 28, 2009 18:33:45 | My FLGS sold out the first week. In fact we started an Eberron campaign there and the owner who is playing in it sold his,so he did not have one for the frirst session.I think he originally ordered like 6-8. The following week he got more in, no problem. |
