| #1psykickApr 01, 2010 11:34:44 | Are the LFR and other adventures that are available for download updated as errata are released? For example, when the new DC's for skill challenges and monster knowledge checks were changed, were the LFR adventures revised to reflect these changes, as in a "version 2.0", or 2.5, or whatever as appropriate? If not, what are the obstacles getting in the way of instituting such a change? I ask because I have been at more than a few tables where heated arguments have happened over this. Thanks. |
| #2OreApr 01, 2010 16:27:19 | No, I can't remember who said it but I recall one of the big dogs addressing this a while ago. DMs are responsible for checking errata and making adjustments as necessary. At around 125+/- modules to date that is A LOT of editing work to do every time errata is released. Like I said, DMs are supposed to handle applying errata to a module they are running. Whenever I have a module I am running to scan the errata document to make sure I am ready. Of course, the organizer I DM for holds us to a high standard when it comes to fair games that are run well. |
