They've only been around for YEARS with no apparent reaction from you guys. I'm sure just about EVERYONE has referenced them at some point or another, if only to figure out which book that pesky feat you can't quite remember came from. They were a great tool for making player & DM's lives easier. They were, in fact, something YOU should have provided to us all a long time ago (rather than the splintered list found on various pages of your site). This seems a petty attempt to squash 3.5 in favor of 4e. I've been playing for 20 years, I've played 1st, 2nd, 3.0 and 3.5 at various times, with likes and dislikes about all of them. Yes, transitioning is always full of growing pains, but 4e is just too tough a pill to swallow. If I want to play something that goofy, I'll log in to WoW. 4e is a giant departure from previous editions, and it seems to me anyways, that had it been released as a secondary product for players who want a simplified experience, alongside of 3.5 continuing development for a more 'hardcore' crowd, you might have seen more success. More and more it seems that money, not adventure, is the driving force here. Now I understand, you're a corporation and when it comes down to it, it's all about the bottom line. But you can achieve that without alienating a large segment of your player base! For me, the petty-seeming steps against Crystal Keep and the removal of 3.5 archives are the last straw. I might have considered reviewing 4e down the line to see if rules changes would bring it more in line with the 3.5 mentality, but now I'm done with WOTC. Thank god for SRD, OGL and Homebrew! NOTE: If you disagree & feel the need to flame me or my opinions, I can't stop you, but I will not be responding. I've made this post to release my own frustration about this situation not in any attempt to start a brawl or change anybody's point of view. |

It appears that the Dungeons&Dragons d20 section of the Crystal Keep site has been closed or removed. I believe that is what the OP has become slightly frustrated about. To tht OP: I think I have found the section, its been moved to a new header. Follow the links on the site. |

To the best of my knowledge (and this is after-the-fact, I have never gone to Crystal Keep at all), Crystal Keep had .pdfs of non-SRD stuff from 3.5 up. And now they are gone, removed "at the request of WotC." |
