With the impending forum reorganization, it's probably a good idea to take a look at the sticky threads, and figure out which ones should be unstuck.
On Community Business

On Future Releases

On General Discussion

On Rules Q&A

On 4e Multiclassing, Paragon Paths and Epic Destinies

On 4e Races and Monsters

On the various campaign setting websites

    • Each forum should have one sticky thread referring people to the Wiki page for that setting.  And then unstick everything else.  People should port all that information to the wiki.

On What's a Player to Do?

On Campaign and Adventure Workshop

On House Rules & Homebrew

On Astrid's Parlor

On all D&Di forums

    • All the various Need Help and Requested Features stickies should be merged.

On D&Di Announcements

On Dragon/Dungeon General

In Scales of War Discussion

In Dungeon/Dragon Article Discussion

In Dragon/Dungeon Articles Errata

    • " rel="nofollow">Purpose of this forum will be obsolete.

In Monster Builder

In Digital D&D

Previous Editions and Other RPGs Forums

    • They deserve their one Wiki page per prior edition, one for d20, and for Other RPGs.  The info from those stickies should be ported over to those wikis.  Otherwise, the forum will have 16 stickies in prior editions alone and seven in the D20 forum.

I concur with the provisions and proposals in their entirety.

Feel free to ignore the suggestion from a non-D&D-er, but in this forum the VCL sometimes have to make unpopular decisions thread could probably come down, seeing as it's three years old now, and the Guide to Dealing With Problematic Posters and How to be a Responsible forum member threads could be consolidated.

I haver a thread stickied in the psionics board that links several of the stickied thread from forum in it. That should at least be kept, and something similar can be done for the stickied threads in the other previous edition boards.

"They deserve" indicates one should be started, not that one currently exists.  But it's wiki.  You can create it with a click.  The problem with sticky threads is if the creator leaves the forums, the thread becomes out of date and nobody can fix it.  But if it's a wiki, anybody can add to it, delete broken links, etc.
