#1 Rustmonster Jun 03, 2008 21:29:47	Is there any way to report a private message sent to your inbox? I have recieved a rather disturbing message, and would like to bring it to the attention of someone who can have something done about it. Thank you.
#2 mudbunny Jun 03, 2008 21:43:51	Take a screenshot of it, and then report it via the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the page. When it asks you to log in, it is a seperate log-in ID and password. If you have never submitted a ticket before, you will have to create a new one. If you are unsure how to do so (Take a screenshot) let me know and I can help you through it.

#6 hellmute Jun 03, 2008 22:54:04	Windows: Press the Print Screen button. [prt scr] Open Paint or your prefered image editing software. Paste the contents of your clipboard viewer (this is where the the [prt scr] button printed the screen) into your image editing software of choice. Save the image as a JPEG/JPG file, as mentioned by Webster.
#7 mudbunny Jun 03, 2008 22:58:21	Open your PMs to show the message, including whom it is from. Hit Print Screen Open Paint (Start -> Programs -> Accessories ->Paint) Paste (CTRL-V) File->Save As Select .jpg as the version Click Save

#9 Rabbitbait Jun 07, 2008 22:17:34	Just thought I'd mention it, but this seems to be a hugely overcomplicated method to report abuse. Talk about making it hard for people to report problems.
#10 wrecan Jun 08, 2008 6:42:27	The problem is that private messages are supposed to be private. Regular abusive posts are easy to report. I do wish you could get th report post button added to PMs though. I know other forums have that capacity.

At least, they aren't ignored insomuch as your receive a reply fairly quickly that seems to be written by an actual person, which means that it is likely they are aware of the problem, and thus, will take some kind of action.
