#1 zombie_babies Aug 28, 2009 9:05:26	Ok, I'm not terribly thrilled with the new look but I won't get into it here.  What's really bothering me is that my screen name got screwed up somehow during the migration.  Currently it reads 'Zombie_babies'.  It should read Zombie_Babies.  I capitalized it when I created it for a reason and I'd like to get that fixed.  If anyone here knows how I could go about getting that done, I'd be very grateful for the information.  Thanks!

I feel your pain, too, it's driving me nuts that my name isn't probaerly capitalized anymore.  My name is "InsanePsychoRabbit," not "Insanepsychorabbit"! If it isn't capitalized, how do you know where the "insane" ends and the "psycho" begins? :P
#3 zombie_babies Aug 28, 2009 9:15:49	Well hopefully this thread will bring it to their attention.  I have a feeling that they already know, though.  I'd like to see it fixed soon but I have a feeling stuff like this is back burner material.  And, as much as I miss my capital B, I'd rather they destroyed that annoying 'Recent Topics' crap first. ;)
#4 Seeker95 Aug 28, 2009 10:56:32	Screen names, MUPs, subscriptions, and post count all seem to have been hacked hard. I went form over 20,000 posts to under 5,000. I thought maybe everyone got truncated, but I see people who had way less than I did to begin with listing far more posts now.

I saw it mentioned somewhere that the lost count had something to do with archived posts no longer being around to add to the count.  I don't know if it's true or not and even though I know I had posts old enough to have been archived, I cannot recall what my count was before the migration to confirm it as a possibility.

#7 EscherEnigma Aug 28, 2009 13:54:19	Weird.  I went into my profile to see if I could fix my name, but after getting to the screen where I could see what it thought my username was (I think it's called Update User Information, and was nested about two pages in) I saw that it had the correct capitalization there. So it looks like they preserved that stuff correctly somewhere, but it's just not showing through correctly.
#8 drnick Aug 28, 2009 14:08:25	Yeah, there's a font style that auto capitalizes output. I'm sure that's what they're using to display the usernames.
#9 mnemonicsv Aug 28, 2009 20:56:53	I have to admit, if the loss of capitalization on user names is indeed merely display-related, then that puts my heart at ease a little.  At least now I know it's something that can be remedied, not a permanent change due to forum migration. ::Whew::
#10 MrCelsius Aug 29, 2009 1:24:01	Count me as another who'd like to be capitalized again. EDIT: Especially since I've seen others with caps in their name, like Sir_Duckman!  WTF, man!
