I plan on paying (not a terribly high amount mind you, but reasonable in my opinion) for any work done though if the work is good. Said artist would have to let me know ahead of time what they think is an acceptable price for their time/effort.      This is where a sample of previous works would come in handy so that both parties know they wouldnt be wasting each others time.
