I mean look - there's a forum for Traps, Terrain, & Tactics, there's also one for Rituals, Equipment, & Magic Items. I'm really only left with two locations to consider posting a skill/skill challenge related thread - here in General Discussion, or over in What Would DM/PC Do? (depending on my perspective at the time) Skill Challenges are supposed to be an significant aspect of the 4e and how we handle non-combat challenges. If WotC wanted to encourage more voices on topic, then a skill sub-forum would be very nice. People could easily find and share skill challenges, discuss applications of skills and what falls under which skills and so forth. ![]() |

I'd love a place to post all the skill-challenge alternate systems (like the Obsidian skill challenge system), and a place to post and read about people's skill challenges. I've even read about people running a dungeon as a skill challenge, and a combat as a skill challenge, and that would be a great forum to discuss those unusual uses. |

Community Business is the appropriate place to discuss creating a Skill Challenge specific forum. When 4e was first released, I suggested creating such a forum (actually, for Abilities, Skills and Skill Challenges) but it was rejected because people thought it would get insufficient traffic. |

Plus you could include anything related to skill or ability checks in that sub-forum. I think it would work. I love seeing other people's skill challenges, skill uses, and skill challenge systems. I've gotten some great ideas off of these forums. |
