| #1DuskweaverNov 21, 2010 9:18:18 | Is anyone else getting their inbox spammed with PMs from various accounts, written in badly broken English, offering (to put it politely) a 'romantic relationship'? Or is it just me? (They all seem to be from accounts with the word 'baby' in the name, and most seem to wrongly assume I am a woman.) If it's just me getting these PMs, then there's some point to me reporting them. If it's a 'known issue' on this forum, then there's no reason for me to waste my own or anyone else's time and I'll just delete them. |
| #2NyarlathotepNov 21, 2010 16:26:30 | I have gotten a few. I seem to get one about every three or four months. Though mine are a bit different from your description, in that they don't seem to assume I am a woman and they come from seemingly ordinary names (i.e. they don't have 'baby'in them). The ones I get claim to be from someone who has seen my posts and wants to have a relationship with me, but for some inexplicable reason cannot be on this forum much longer, so if I am interested I have to contact 'her' at some yahoo address. Annoying, but luckily rare enough to avoid being too much of a nuisance. |
