Stop Discussing In The Mike Twitter Thread!

And no, I am not going to get on twitter to follow his tweets because I don't use twitter.
If I do go back on my twitter account, it's most likely to post Mike Twitters on this forum.

So guys, stop discussing in the Mike Twitter Thread. I hate reading through 40-60 posts
just to read 2-3 tweets. This is annoying. You guys are spamming the thread and breaking the rules.

If you want to discuss about it, make a thread about it. That way you can go crazy over it.

Also special thanks for the people who post Mike tweets. It's always nice to go on this forum
to read some discussions and some Mike tweets.

+1. I'm not jumping through hoops to write something on a public message board. It's absurd to spawn a separate thread for each little thing.

The mods can make the thread mod-writeable only, and they should do it that way if they want to be fair to everyone. So long as other people write there, I will continue to do so as well.

Aug 15, 2013 15:46:53 The thread was made specifically for posting his twitter responses. Keeping it to the point is just common courtesy. Derailing it is called "Derailing" or "Hijacking" for a reason.

Aug 15, 2013 15:53:40 A to-the-point discussion of the content of those tweets isn't the end of the world, and it's not "hijacking." twitter.com/mikemearls is hardly that tough to type in, and it gives you better context than some of the recaps anyway.

It'd certainly be handy to branch it off into two different threads: the Twitter thread and the Twitter discussion thread. It'd make finding his latest (relevant) tweets easier. And discussions wouldn't be interrupted or as easily derailed by new tweets.

Look, I don't not like reading through 2-3 pages just to find the tweets they are discussing about.

I can handle a few post between tweets, but when it comes to pages, it goes too far.

However, it is also helpful if folks take more lengthy conversations to other threads.
