| #1VikingkingqMay 20, 2008 19:15:07 | I don't know if this is just me, but I find the green Gleemax skin visually irritating, and much prefer the...brown and parchment, I guess? skin of the main D&D forums. Would it be possible to switch these? |
| #2wizardmonMay 20, 2008 19:20:29 | I think it is a great idea. However, you can switch it yourself by going to My Account > My User Control Panel > Edit Options > Miscellaneous Options and changing the Forum Skin to Dungeons & Dragons Default. Not a perfect fix, but it works for me ATM. |

| #5sophismataMay 21, 2008 8:09:30 | You can also change the theme at the bottom left of the webpage. |
| #6batshidoMay 21, 2008 8:27:45 | Ah, many thanks. The point remains, however. It also keeps switching back for me. I set it on D&D default, but every time I close my browser the settings reset. They should reset the whole D&D forum to the D&D style. It makes sense, and it won't burn our retinas while we change it ourselves. |

| #8steerpike7May 21, 2008 13:45:01 | Yeah the color scheme is abhorrent. I'm glad someone mentioned you can chagen it...I didn't realize that! |
| #9WebsterMay 23, 2008 8:03:05 | I've already sent the request on up the pipe, but I'll remind them. (It was actually a list of forums that needed changing, so I'm not surprised that one got missed.) |
| #10orc_claybenMay 23, 2008 10:14:27 | Moved as per VCL request. ![]() |
| #11valdraxMay 23, 2008 13:43:16 | I've already sent the request on up the pipe, but I'll remind them. Oh, thank you very much. I hope they listen. The thing I hate most about the default Gleemax skin is the icons that are supposed to show whether there's new posts in a thread, the youth/age of the thread, and whether it's a thread you've posted in. I have to squint to tell them apart unlike that standard D&D parchment look. Also, thanks to Wizardmon for pointing out the prefs. I'm going to see if I can fix that even though Batshido says that it doesn't consistently work. |
