Termination or Suspension of Account

Sep 04, 2008 14:16:32 Recently, I was warned by WoTC customer service that my gleemax account may be terminated or suspended for trolling/baiting by comparing D&D 4th Ed to certain other genre games (as stated by one of the many code of conduct required).

No issue on that (although I totally disagree with their judgment and their high-handed approach - "Wizards of the Coast staff are the final judges of whether a member's behavior qualifies as inappropriate or a disruption.") but I was wondering, if I had subscribed to the D&DI on a year subscription (which I'm intending to do so when it starts), and I got terminated, what will happen to my subscription? Will I be banned only from the forums? Will I still be able to enjoy my paid services? Or will WoTC provide a refund on the remainder of the subscription fees?

Edit: I'm wondering since WoTC had integrated the accounts into a single gleemax account.

Sep 04, 2008 16:56:26 I don't (and would never) work for WotC ( )... but I can guarantee that they will not terminate a service you pay for. They may kick you off the forums, but, by God, they will still gladly take your money...

People actually get banned on these forums? Considering the amount of bile that's so common here that shocks me. What'd you have to do to earn that? Make a 5 day long Aristocrats joke?

That's just a warning.

Anyway...

They only terminate your access to the forums, you can still log into D&D Insider and download Dungeon & Dragon articles.
