Tired of having to reset my password

On a routine basis, the web site will not let me log in. I am forced to reset my password and then change it right back to the one I was using. Please fix your software to remember my password.

Now, today, it won't let me change my password back to the one I want to use. I'm very frustrated by this. If the forums and main website continue to remain so unreliable, I don't see continuing to pay for a subscription.

Thanks

So...no chance this is an isolated incident? I'm a DDI Subscriber and a forum member, and it seems to remember my passwords just fine. No possible chance it could be something on your end?

You should e-mail Customer Service about this.
They should be able to figure out why the forums don't like your password.

It's not completely isolated. Somebody in [thread=1133626]this thread[/thread] recently reported the same problem.

I do agree with Cal's suggested course of action, though. And if the customer service site gives you trouble, you should post in the thread I linked.

I used to have this problem, then after about the fifth or sixth reset it just stopped...it just acted like it forgot my password.

I too have had this issue; it plagued me for two weeks, but hasn't in the past week or so (knocking vigorously on wood).

It did this to me, until I devised a work around. The problem is, when you reset your password, and login with the temporary password, it marks your session as temporary, even if you change your password. Thus, 24 hours later, it resets your password, even though you changed it, and you are back to the beginning.

The work around is that after you change your password, log out and login again with your new, non-temporary password.

The fix should be that if you change your password, the session should be unflagged as temporary.
