Not quite sure where to post this but it is D&D related so I'll post it here.

I recently received an email from someone called Tucker Bass asking me to be apart of a "research project for Wizards of the Coast." However, the email doesn't come from a WotC address. I wouldn't really mind participating but the email goes on to claim that anyone who completes the project will receive $100.

Can anyone with WotC verify this?

Has anyone else received an email similar to this?

In regards to your question I think you may be referring to the Plannerzone emails that were recently sent out. Plannerzone is a research partner of Wizards of the Coast and these emails were sent out as part of a marketing research project. If you have any further questions or if the email was from a company other then Plannerzone please contact customer support through http://www.wizards.com/customerservice.
