| #1mudbunnyMay 07, 2008 13:44:53 | This year begins the days in which UnCon is entirely run by the community. Rush_Clasic is your director for this year’s UnCon and he is searching for members who would like to volunteer to be Section Organizers. What is a Section Organizer? Section Organizers oversee a specific community (Magic, D&D, Gleemax, etc.) and are the intermediaries between that community and the UnCon Director. They will find hosts for the various events in that community and help organize other initiatives in regards to that community’s plans for UnCon, including prize organization, special guest chats, etc. For more information on UnCon and the planning program, see the [thread=1026833]UnCon FAQ and Info Kiosk[/thread]. If you are interested in becoming a Section Organizer, please make it known [thread=1027812]here[/thread], as well as posting your interest in this thread. |

| #3ObsidianjaercMay 27, 2008 0:18:25 | I'd love to organize the Previous Edition D&D boards edition. I have years of experience with the rules set. I have been involved in every UnCon since 2003 I have organized and run UnCon (and UnUnCon or NotCon or whatever we ended up calling it) contests for the last two years. I have participated in and won many UnCon contests. I believe myself to be skilled at diplomacy and clear writing. I used to fairly well-known in those parts (maybe I still am?). I'd also be pleased to help with the 4e Boards. Repost from the other thread. |

Contestants would choose a party of 5 to convert into 4th edition characters. There would have to be some "character concept / back-story" information provided so the upgraded versions could be judged be how much they match the previous version. Because the only resources for 4th edition are three books, limit the 3.5 versions to SRD only. |
