Used the Encounter Builder for the last time.

Oct 28, 2010 22:15:40 Yeah, I'm done with it. It's about a 1/2 step better than just having a spreadsheet to assemble an encounter. Too many time of being logged out, having to look up stats on the compendium instead, and still not have an easy look-up interface led to this being the last time. Instead I'll just work with the minis I have and simply scale stats.

Any word on if there will be an update to make it better in, say, 2012?

Oct 28, 2010 23:46:46 If you are talking about the online encounter builder then no it won't. It was never meant to be used long term. If you are talking about Monster Builder then we have to wait and see what happens this Tuesday.

What the... why not? It's so close to working with the compendium to assemble printable encounters... but that might give me what I want out of my DDI account.

yeah, they go through employees pretty quickly.. I don't think they've kept many of them for more than a year or two...
