I kept getting a message that made it sound like I had been suspended...

Same here. I was rubbing my chin rethinking everything I posted saying, "surly other people have said worse things than that."

Yes, they were down. I don't know why they were, but it's happened that way before.

From the Community Business forum:

Hi Zherog,

Yeah, that's exactly right. What happens is that when the forums cache gets corrupted that permissions error pops up because vBulletin thinks you don't have access to the forum/thread you're trying to view. When it does that, it also updates all your subscriptions to reflect the fact you don't have permission to view the forum the subscription is in. But, in reality, you do have permission it's just because vBulletin can't get the info out of the cache it assumes you don't.

Forums cache should be fixed and subscriptions restored.

Yea its just a scary sounding message. Hopefully they figure out how to make it say "Some Umber Hulk just trashed our servers, forums will be up again once Bigby forces him back under ground."

I was trying to remember if I said anything TOS violation worthy yesterday...

Alas so was I. Mine's been doing this for the last two days though, often for hours at a time. Heck, this morning's lasted three-four hours on my end. I was starting to think I really had been banned or something. You know, for being nice?

I'm sure the servers are getting hammered from all the people logging on to discuss and/or get a sneak peak at the PHBII content.
