Volunteer Community Lead.

Man I was actually wondering the same thing when I saw that thread locked. Speak of the devil this new thread appeared. And now my question, what does Volunteer Community Lead mean? I had one of my threads closed before by this VLC ****. And I had hoped that was not intended to be said that the person who started the thread wanted to close it because I certainly did not .

The VCL on this forum is Lord Karsus. (Actually I'm wrong on this one, as Therise points out. I tend to mix up VCL and Forum Lead.)

The VCL on this forum is Lord Karsus.

I never did like the idea that 1 person should be able to make a choice for a majority. Who's to say his voice is greater than all of ours. If people were posting on that thread and enjoying it, why close it because of his opinion?

What's that?

Also on a side note, why do you keep changing your avatar every time I log on here?

The VCL on this forum is Lord Karsus.

Lord Karsus is the Forum Lead, not the VCL.

I never did like the idea that 1 person should be able to make a choice for a majority. (...)

Speculating about possible "hidden agendas" of anyone is inappropriate - especially because you're wrong, and in more ways than one.

FL and VCL can make suggestions, but it's WizOs who make the major decisions about threads (mergers, deletions, etc). Clearly, more than one person is involved, and the only "agenda" is really whether or not something follows the Forum Rules (Code of Conduct).

What's that?

-The Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide. You HATE it now around here just wait till some people see it and read it. Man the complaining is going to go through the roof. (Yes I am guilty of it too) :P
Also on a side note, why do you keep changing your avatar every time I log on here?

-Because I can. ;)

Do you think I know anything about that? How long have you known me on this forum?

Please refrain from personal attacks and flaming, these are violations of the Code of Conduct. You can review the Code here: http://forums.gleemax.com/community_coc.php. You are welcome to disagree with one another but please do so respectfully and constructively.

Lord Karsus is the Forum Lead, not the VCL.

Right my bad. For some reason I always get the two mixed up.

Actually, I'm the VCL for the area and I make the editorial decisions. The WizOs still handle all the Code of Conduct stuff, though.

Lord Karsus is very helpful as area lead, and most of the time, I just follow through on his direction.

Careful... Never know when Karsus might have you help him set up a ritual... His last one went off with out a hitch, though the end of it left much to be desired...
