Here's the opening part of it. What goes where? Seeing the large number of forums can be a daunting thing, but there’s no need to fear. There IS a place for your topic and the trick is knowing where things go. The first place of particular note is “Find Players in your area here”. This isn’t really a forum for discussion, but a link to a number of forms to look for or post game openings for people in your area. There’s even an area for Online games. Do you have a quick rule question? Hop over to the Rules Q&A board. We also have some new forums for the rules Errata. Do you need help building or understanding your character? Boy do we have forums for you! First, let’s look at the various character building forums. They’re divided by classes/roles. (*List CB boards) Two other special forums also exist. Character Optimization is where the expert players will help you get the most out of crunching the numbers for your character. The folks on the Character Optimization board really know the rules and can give you the best suggestions as to what skills, feats and powers to take. The other forum is Character Development. This board is where you can discuss the story elements of your character. Does your character have an interesting background, or are you looking for help with a starting point? What’s a Player to Do is a player forum for general game issue help. Are you having trouble with other players of the DM? This is the place to ask for advice. The What’s a DM to Do is the other side of the GP. It’s the help forum for DMs, both old and new.
