What happened to the DDI FAQ?

Ken Troop's "Applications Update" news item for the Dungeons and Dragons Insider News from the 10th promised an FAQ "later this week"... 2 weeks ago!

Where'd it go, and can we expect to see one?

Personally, I'd love to at least have a few questions answered about the forthcoming applications, like the subscription model (even if we don't get a solid/finalized rate) that will govern the various tools -- Can non-subscribers use the Character Builder? Can they save built characters? Can non-subscribers use the Character Visualizer? Can non-subscribers play at the Digital Table? Does the DM specifically need to be a subscriber to run the Digital Table? What utilities and tools are available that don't relate directly to digital minis and the grid -- will there be a chat for the players around the Digital Table? If so, will it use a familiar command format, like, say, IRC? Will there be voice chat integrated into the Digital Table application? If so, how will the voice hosting work? How will digital miniatures be handled -- was the idea of pay-for-minis scrapped? Will Digital Tables be able to save sessions states and/or be left "open" in such a manner that users can log in and view the map/make character moves and the like outside a gathered session, to facilitate, for instance, play-by-post formats?

I'm at the point where I love 4e, my face-to-face group is having fun with it, and I'm itching for more action than just once a week. As such, I'd love to start planning and putting together a couple other groups/games to play with online, but without knowing lots of these basic questions covering the extent and scope of the digital tabletop's functionality, it's hard to know how to plan for these groups.

Perhaps somebody who works at Wizards could take a detour on the way back from their coffee break and tap Mr. Troop on the shoulder on our behalf...

If you are referring to the FAQ put together by Cart_Sprinter, it has been moved to DDi Announcements.

Hrm. That wasn't what I was referring to, as I think I've seen most of the source posts for it -- which may or may not remain accurate with regards to the current actual state of the applications and plans.

No, I was looking for (or rather, reminding Wizards that they forgot/delayed this without telling us) the official FAQ promised in the June 10th DDI News Update:

The D&D Insider applications are currently in development. However, content for Dragon Magazine and Dungeon Magazine is now available to our 4th Edition players, free of charge. We’re hard at work on all the applications, and the D&D Online Compendium will be the first online tool available for free preview while we finish work on D&D Insider. We hope to have the rest of the D&D Insider applications (Character Visualizer, Character Builder, and the D&D Game Table) available throughout the coming year. A FAQ will be posted later this week with more details.

"Later this week" has, of course, come and gone, and I, for one, would've liked to see it. Late's better than never, as it were. ;)

On the D&Di Introductory page is a link to this D&Di FAQ. It has been there for a while.

Thank you, dunno how I overlooked that, though it looks like it dates back to the D&D Experience, so I'm not sure if it's what Mr. Troop was referring to (perhaps updates to it?)...

Also, thanks for maintaining your FAQ -- I did find some stuff mined from posts I hadn't seen or seen referenced; stuff like the guest passes, in particular.
