I return here after some time laden with my analysis of first 3 chapters of 4E PH (about 3,7 k words, tbh) and found "4E Concern and criticism" locked. Where I can post my message? Or must I send this text to the Wizards directly and be done? Help appreciated.

The CoC board became an hellhole, won over by trolls and flamers. It was hard having civil dicussions. Hence came one day it's disparition.

If you have found mechanical problems, start a thread (possibly for each one) unless someone else has done so or there is already an official fix. Check errata here to see what is already fixed. There are also a lot of threads with rules clarifications on the "Rules Q&A" forum if you are unsure of a rule rather than sure it is wrong. Character Optimization also has a great Q&A thread as well as an "errata needed" thread and a tremendous knowledge base.

If you have something that WotC needs to know that no one else has found, sending an email to Customer Service is a *much* faster way to send the message than posting on the forums and hoping someone finds it. But if you would like people to confirm what you've found, starting a thread to discuss it is a smart move. If you can be more specific about what you have found, someone can probably point you toward the best place to find information or have a discussion about what has been/needs to be done.

And it's reincarnation into the troll ridden hellhole of the General Discussion boards, where the only change is the troll's names (about once a month).

It got locked. I don't really know why. I speculate that it was because the criticisms were too biting and the pro 4e were having a hard time mobbing critics when there were more critics than pro 4e. So it got closed and the general discussion forums were opened which is the closest thing to a place where criticism of 4e can go. Unfortunately, the critics have not transferred over entirely and as such, groups like the avengers (which the mods allowed, even though the legion of doom thread was not allowed (bias)), have mobbed some of the critics into submission.

If you're posting concerns, then people WILL come in and try to help fix the issues you have with 4e. If it's just a general rant, it might be passable but not guaranteed to not turn into a flame fest. If it's just trolling (as the Concerns and Criticisms board unfortunately became, then it's not really welcome as trolling/baiting is against the code of conduct and not a good way to be a productive member.

Don't pay juggyslash heed, he is there for the lulz. He is well-known, for good reasons.
