| #1thaxMay 20, 2008 18:06:50 | Why is this forum in this dumb ass color scheme instead of the normal D&D board? |
| #2VikingkingqMay 20, 2008 18:27:07 | Dunno. A couple forums are like this, and I agree they should be switched. The other one looks much better. |
| #3commissarMay 20, 2008 18:31:50 | As a good Samaritan in another thread pointed out: go up to the control bar and click on "My Account" on the left. From the menu, choose "Edit Thread Viewing Options", which is second from the bottom. At the bottom of that screen is a box that says "Miscellaneous Options" and it has a drop-down called "Change Forum Skin". Use that to disable Ugly-O-Vision. The old style is called "Dungeons and Dragons Default", but there are a number of things to choose from. Like if you have to have a "Neopets" skin for some reason. |

THANK YOU! ![]() (... man, that default skin is pretty bad.) |
| #7NyarlathotepMay 20, 2008 22:29:33 | Why is this forum in this dumb ass color scheme instead of the normal D&D board? My guess is its because the old default skin inexplicably became glitchy and was causing problems. BUt you can change it if you don't like it. I don't know if the glitch has been fixed, but several skins work okay. Personally, I find the MTG-Black skin to be pretty clear and non-headache inducing, but the one they went with, aye yi yi. |
| #8LFKMay 21, 2008 0:13:29 | Even by changing the Forum Skin it still forces this forum to show the Wizards.Community skin on my computer. |
| #9WebsterMay 21, 2008 0:19:25 | I'll look into getting the defaults set back to D&D. |
| #10NyarlathotepMay 21, 2008 8:33:18 | Even by changing the Forum Skin it still forces this forum to show the Wizards.Community skin on my computer. I find it depends on how I come here. On one computer, I have a link straight to the forums. If I use that, it uses my defaults. On another, I have never bookmarked the forums themselves, only the main site. And if I come in through there, it for some reason overrides my defaults with the skin that looks like a circus clown threw up. . BUt if you scroll down to the bottom of the screen, there is a little drop down menu where you can change it vack to whatever you want PDQ. |
