What Is The Protocol For Having A Thread 'Stickied'?

May 31, 2008 18:04:55 -With the recent merger of the Forgotten Realms threads, a particularly helpful community resource has been relegated to the 2nd or 3rd page. This thread has numerous posts and views, and is a tremendous resource to those coming to our section of the boards.

-What is the protocol for having it permanently attached to the first page? A petition, where those in favor express their opinion? A WizO/G0/CM simply does it, based on some criteria? Something else?

-Any light on the matter would be appreciated.

-I'm the closest thing there is for a FL in the Forgotten Realms section. Via PM, Mike basically said, "Sure, go ahead", since my nomination was put in a few hours before nominations were closed, and nothing was ever made of it until I asked, recently.

May 31, 2008 19:41:38 Ahh, that makes life easier. All you do is just ask to have it stickied in the D&D and D&D 4E Forum Lead Suggestions thread. Give a brief explanation of why, and Webster (the VCL) will put in the request.

No need to ask anyone ele to do it.
