#2 frothsof May 28, 2012 11:12:15	not a stupid question at all encounters is a store program made for casual play and for new players. this page lets you search for stores www.wizards.com/dnd/Event.aspx?x=dnd/4ne... with a ddi sub you get access to a virtual table, and i play a lot of games that way. i highly recommend it also you could just call hobby and game shops and bookstores in your area

#4 PrimeSonic May 29, 2012 8:27:29	If neither of those are possible for you (as they were not for me given where I live) you can start your own gaming group. I learned the rules with a passion and DMed for a group of players that never played a tabletop RPG before. They got into it and almost all of them have tried their hand at DMing. Never be afraid to introduce the game to your friends and discover a whole new thing to do together.
