where to play a mature in character thread.

Apr 14, 2008 18:54:56 Seems that the old "Uhhm" thread was shut down, so I put it to everyone here, where can someone play a mature In Character thread on a BBS board like this one?

Seems that all the ones here have been shut down (with the "Ask The..." threads being the exception) and no alternative exists within the Wizards web sight, nor does it seem that a mature In Character forum will be made available here.

Any ideas?

Apr 15, 2008 10:29:36 I'd try off-site, although not all 3rd party sites allow it either, obviously. I think plothook.net allows it if a disclaimer is posted in the sub-forum; but I may be wrong.

Apr 15, 2008 16:15:36 It is true that The Traveler's Respite was made on a different site but the OP is no longer a part of the festivities (A part of which may be because of the "Porn" that you talk of) and new players have to get verified for the site. I liked the randomness that it had here, where twenty different players had a say in what transpired and Tuck was still "around."

Most of the other sites I have looked into doesn't do "freeform." That means that a poster has one character and has to have stats done up and on and on...

Wizards had a good run for the thread before someone got uptight about it, but the refusal to provide a mature In Character forum was short sighted, at best, and nothing I have found has the same feel as it did here.

Yeah, there isn't any place to play mature games but the respite. And the respite, BTW, has been opened up to other RP games if you want to play. You are no longer required to participate in the respite to play.

I used to be willing to give you the doubt, but this solidified in my mind that you are nothing more than a troll who gets his jollies from ripping people apart on the internet. Get a life man.

Anyways, so apparently there are some random sites out there that allow mature RP. Wonderful, good luck, and hope things work out for you there! If they don't, we at the respite will welcome you with open arms.

Incidentally, I did send you a (large) PM with criticism of and ideas for your forum that has been sitting in my "Sent Items" box for almost a month, so either you're lying about having never received any PMs from me or it didn't go through, for some reason.

On that topic, no, you haven't ever asked me to take anything up with you in PM aside from that, and nor did I "take issue" with what you said in the first place. All I did was correct what I perceived to be a mistake, which I do all the time. To everyone. You aren't special.

You need to be chill about it. I've been attacked more savagely and more openly in the past, and have reacted calmer than you have, and I'm bipolar and prone to violent mood swings.

Seriously, he's not doing anything to you to justify your diatribes against him.

I has JUST gotten onto these boards, and JUST started roleplaying (Having never done online RP before) and wight calls me out on another thread as a **** for one of my characters IC actions.
