Why are some thread titles bold and others aren't?

It used to be that bold thread titles meant that there were unread posts in the thread, but now I have threads almost alternating between bold and normal text weight. I just can't figure out a pattern.

I also miss the "mark forum as read" feature. Sometimes I don't have time to read all the forums when I log in and liked how I could keep up with different last read threads in different forums.

And I add: where can I find the list of subscribed threads?

To the best of my knowledge, it works like this:

With threads that have been started on this software - Bold is unread, non-bold is read. Bold with a reaad square with a number inside it meanas that there are X new posts since you last read the thread.

However, old threads from the old software stay marked as unread (non-bold) whether there are new posts in them or not until you read them.

What about this? I can not find mine anywhere.

Go to forum preferences (top of thread or bottom of the forum list of threads), and click the "look at subscribed threads" link.

Thank you, but is there no way to get there from "Home" - Well, I can't find it anyway.

No problem. Just something that would be handy.

Is there a place for suggestions?
