Why does clicking links generated by the board turn off my theme?

Feb 29, 2012 8:27:12		If I click on a link generated by the forum software, such as one in the "View All Posts By This Member," "Recent Posts," or "A new post has been added, click here to refresh list" turn off my theme preferences and instead use the default theme of the group the forum also happens to be in?

If I navigate via the dropdown menu and clicking forum entries or via bookmarks, it doesn't happen.  It appears to happen in any forum associated with a group - D&D Next, VT Beta, user-created groups included.
