It was in general discussion.

And it's very much not a first impressions thread....

Yours is not the first thread that may have nothing to do with first impressions that is getting needlessly merged and it is starting to make people hostile that threads that are unrelated get merged together mindlessly.

I am quite frankly sick of seeing that thread in my subscriptions and having to delete the subscription to it every day because yet another thread got folded into it to destroy any possibility of continuity of discussion due to the poor forums software.
