#1 jetshield May 17, 2012 23:33:44	I'd love to know why these forums insist on connecting to facebook every time you load a page. Since WotC decided against the facebook "like" buttons, shouldn't the part of the code that deals with facebook have just been expunged? Heck, if you think you might need it later, just comment it so it won't degrade performance. Yes, I know WotC farmed the forums out to a 3rd party, but they can still tell them to fix it.
#2 zombie_babies May 18, 2012 8:10:57	Yeah, I noticed that, too.  I didn't think much of it (other than wondering just how negatively that extra crap impacted performance) because the email I use for this account is different from the one I use for Facebook.  Cuz I don't want the two of them to mix.  Ever.  What I post here I post for my audience here.  What I post there is for my audience there.  I'd like to keep things that way. Oh, and it would be nice if that stuff were removed since it can't be something that makes these boards run smoother.
