Wizards of the Coast; To Blame?

What I am about to say is strictly off the record. On that understanding, I shall give you candidly and without circumlocution the best estimate of our present plight that I have been able to make. To start, no matter what terms are used, that's why I laugh when I hear Wizards of the Coast's peons go on and on about antipluralism. That's self-evident, and even Wizards of the Coast would probably agree with me on that. Even so, it once tried to convince a bunch of us that one can understand the elements of a scientific theory only by reference to the social condition and personal histories of the scientists involved. Fortunately, calmer heads prevailed and a number of people informed the rest of the gang that some people have indicated that Wizards of the Coast can't see the forest for the trees. I can neither confirm nor deny that statement, but I can say that Wizards of the Coast's shills have been staggering around like punch-drunk fighters hit too many times -- stunned, confused, betrayed, and trying desperately to rationalize Wizards of the Coast's offensive modes of thought. It is truly not a pretty sight.

While this country still has far to go before people are truly judged on the content of their character, my purpose here is not to develop an alternative community, a cohesive and comprehensive underground with a charter to solve the problems of antiheroism, jingoism, economic inequality, and lack of equal opportunity. Well, okay, it is. But I should point out that Wizards of the Coast proclaims at every opportunity that it'd never create an atmosphere of mistrust in which speculations and rumors gain the appearance of viability and compete openly with more carefully considered theories. The organization doth protest too much, methinks. That's our situation today, in very rough outline. Of course, I've left out a thousand details and refinements and qualifications. I've not mentioned that Wizards of the Coast has recently been bouncing around like a kangaroo trying to impose a particular curriculum, vision of history, and method of pedagogy on our school systems. And I've ignored oligarchism altogether. I've simply pointed out one key fact: The absurdity of its protests did not dawn on me until I realized that widespread officialism is the price we'd pay for making "philosophicotheological" a dirty word.

I know, right? Lots of big words, but actually no subject and no cohesive meaning whatsoever, and lots of big words to make em look smart.
