| #1tophe210Nov 20, 2012 5:28:40 | I have a computer capable of sreaming and a very good game runnning weekly. game is TUESDAYS from 7 o'clock to 11ish o'clock www.twitch.tv/alphamech/ A little background: I have been running games for about 5 years, most of it spent loving 3.5, and more recently (with the help of maptools and Veggies) 4e. The game we are currently running is an Eberron game at level 6. Note: about half the party has been killed and replaced. Zeta Thole: Githrezai Avenger/Paladin of the Path of Light. Deimos: Goliath Paladin of the Silver Flame, Promoted to Captain by the Voice of the Flame Rengar(KIA): Rage blood barbarian, Killed by Moto Micar(KIA): Assassin, killed by the Blood of the Vol's Master assassin. Relic(KIA): warforged RunePriest, killed trying to stop the party from killing the fist new forged produced since the last war. His body was reactivated by the Lord of Blades, and Relic is now serving the Lord of Blades. Kahlan: once sorcerer, now Dread Necromancer. Born with the Mark of Death, Kahlan wants to restore House Vol. Darius: Battle cleric of the Silver Flame, also an Inquisitor, working to investigate the Silver Flames operations in Sharn Jin: A cocky Warlock, working with the party for the amazing money it brings. Prophesized by the Voice of the Flame to have a great Destiny Traben: Elf Druid. A captive of the Blood now turned hardcore adventurer, he is traveling with the party becasue the Blood killed his family and now he has nowhere else to go. He keeps all of the solos dazed forever >.> We have been playing this since level 1, and a lot of interesting things have happened. Tavicks Landing, a merchant quarter of Sharn, is being oppressed by a mafia type group. The party Paladins offer to squash the people oppressing a group of buisnesses. This leads to a dungeon massacre that leaves the paladins deputized by the Sharn Watch, and the Silver Flame peacekeepers in the area. Using her Mark of Death, Kahlan the sorceress gleans information from the minds of the recently deceased to uncover that the warforged Moto was responsible for the increased mob activity, supplying them with rescources and funds. Rengar was slain by the massive warforged Moto. The paladins are not pleased with the effectivness of the Watch or teh Peacekeepers, believing that they should take extraordinary methids to keep organized crime down. During the raid on the mob base, they discover the body of a House Lyandar noble. They return the body to the House, who has her revived. Extremely grateful to the party, Baron Filnor d'Lyander invites them to a party abord him mega air-yaht. Thier they meet Talon, a massive Owl studying at the Arcane university(ya i know 'borrowed) Who needs Bloodroot from the Black Forest in Thrane. It is perilous, however, as the forest is haunted. There is even talk of the Blood of the Vol calling the forest home. This intriques the party, especially Kahlan, who hates the Blood. They take Baron d'Lyandar up on his hospitality and fly to Thrane in style and comfort, ariving in flame keep in a matter of days. Upon arrival, Deimos is welcomed home. The do not stay long though, and head out immediatly to the forest, all the way hearing about the horrors of the forest. Upon reaching the edge of the forest, they take up the services of a suspiciously available guide. Flyn, leads then into the forest. He takes them to an inn deep within the forest to spend the night. It turns out that this simple inn is in fact a portal to the shadowfell, and that Flyn was a construct designed to lead people to thier doom. Needless to say a lot of undead were murdered and the party moved on. From there they reach the edge of a massive grave yard from the Last War, This is where they hoped to find Bloodroot, as it grows in the dark, under corpses, only in Thrane( hey i was tired) Here they stumble upon the Blood doing a massive ritual over two mass graves, at the head of the ritual is an imposing dread necromancer. The party has a tough battle, almost dropping entirely, and eventually wins the day. They loot a plain white deathmask made of porcelin, practically glowing with necro energy. There is a huge party arguement about what to do with the mask, the paladins want to destroy it, as it is obviously an evil artifact, but Kahlan wants to study it. She shares a common ancestry with the Blood, and she claims it by birthright. In the end they decide to let the clerics and artificers back at FlameKeep decide the artifacts fate. And kahlan gets a very interesting message from the deceased DN. They press on into the ruins of a Last War fortress. The fortress is inscribed with runes that the party runepriest identifies as Cannith markings. After defeating a few Madness Shades and a Huge Blood Elemental they forge onwards down into the ruins. At this point the warforged Runpriest recognizes this as the sight of a Creation Forge, one of the massive machines used to create the warforged (they were supposedly all destroyed per the Treaty of Thronehold) Deep within the Ruins they find evidence that a demon is leading the Blood. This is all the evidence the Paladins need to charge right into demon slaying mode. They have a fight with Aldatha, master of the Word. Aldatha's mere precense forces the party to kneel(prone) or suffer massive damage. They slay the demon Aldatha, then move deeper into the fortress, to the creation forge. The Creation Forge is massive, and standing in its shadow are a squadron of warforged. They move with little confidence, and their plating bears no signs of combat, or even the wear and tear of living. Relic, the warforged runepriest, realizes with astonishment that these forged are brand new. and he moves to defend them from his comrades. However it turns for the worst, as the personality docent that lies within the Forged has given these 'forged a bad mouth. The forged refer to the party as breathers, and, while offerign no resistance to the party, refuse to surrender thier weapons to the breathers. The paladins see no alternative (they are paladins) and attempt to slay the newforged. Relic is blown up in the aoe, cut down by his own party. Before dieng though, he crawls to the forge to get the docent, saving the forge. His body then dissapears as it goes inactive. |
| #2tophe210Nov 20, 2012 5:33:38 | The party realizes that without its docent, the forge is inert, and leave the ruins. After which they stumble upon some Blood civilians, coming to check on the ruins. They tell a horrifying tale about how the Blood's women and children are treated. Kahlan pledges to help them escape, so the entire village of the Blood's women and children are evacuated to FlameKeep. Upon arival, they are praised and blessed by the silver flame itself, being given a boon that makes thier abilities stike more truely. Then they are rewarded with gifts from thte silver flame armory. They are in a hurry though, as they are aware the the final confrontation with the Tavics Landing Mafia draws near... This has been an exciting game, and I am sure you would enjoy watching it. We play tuesdays from 7-11ish at www.twitch.tv/alphamech/ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |
