News and Whatnot

This is an 'on' week for ECL10+.

Nothing really new to report this week. We all know about Erithmu's monstrous campaign that he's planning. Looks like it will be a rocking good time.

New Rulings - Courtroom

  • nothing ruled on yet

Current Discussions
  • Sweeping Strike - I think this is pretty much clarified, but I'll review first before adding it.
  • Grease - non standard uses - how does it affect non-held but attended objects? Not really a lot of discussion on this - is it really not an issue?
  • Obsidian Steed (Figure of Wondrous Power) - what's its CR? (for prebuffing and for rewards)
  • Metamorphic Transfer - what are its limitations?

The Council Decisions/Revelations
  • Flight Houserule - This is resolved and it is pretty much removed with a small caveat for the sewer map. Check the council or the rules thread for the updated item.
  • Plains clarification - To resolve the question of whether someone can be prone behind the low obstacles. Again - it is updated in the council and the rules thread.

Current Topics
  • EL12 and EL11 monster fight lists - Zevox posted them. They look fine to me - but if you see issues - make them known now.


Idle Conversations

These are topics that have died down but had nothing come of them. We may reinvest time into them should they continue to be an issue.
  • Council - Mechanics of the "Awaken" spell is currently being discussed in the council.
  • Council- Delay rules are still being discussed.
  • Courtroom - Sauro wishes an elder decision on using an intelligent cohort as a mount. [and what tricks/training it requires]
  • Council - There is a discussion on how quickly you should be able to aquire ethereal equipment.
  • Courtroom- The rules for Ride and Handle Animal are under discussion.

one thing and a questions.

1) in the reward should Polymorph not be sat at a 4'th lvl spell ?.
2) Mineau don't get full attack with the 3 heads and 2 claws, is this because Polymorph does not allow me attacks with extra limbs.

1. Noted - just a mistake on my end.
2. This is actually due to the location where you found the gnome. The gnome was able to take 5ft steps out of the hindered terrain, you had to take an actual move action to move within it.
