| #1post_ironicMay 07, 2009 19:32:19 | This thread is for Salrantol and whitebaron. Please refrain from posting if you aren't them or me. Bareth' kul's Minions
|
| #2post_ironicMay 07, 2009 19:35:00 | Minions You start in box 1. |
| #3salrantolMay 07, 2009 20:43:37 | |
| #4whitebaronMay 08, 2009 0:54:29 | start both start in front (boar on the top square), bull holding his hammer, boar nothing. |
| #5post_ironicMay 08, 2009 13:35:34 | Eternal Glory is up first, starting with Boar. |
| #6whitebaronMay 08, 2009 14:00:03 | general things to note: a) read the coco dice roller instructions i wrote (last page of the rules thread, actually) - don't write text into the roll section, and if you do, write it as comment in brackets. b) use the "edit link" feature on the map, as it will make things easier to continue, as both of us could take the map and continue from there. example => boar will move as above, and use thorn wip. (pull as shown if hit) then he'll wildshape into a medium sized dire boar, (no mechanical changes) and snort at his opponents. further actions when bull is up, charge with howling strike. he might use an action point depending on the outcome. |
| #7post_ironicMay 08, 2009 14:23:44 | Boar attempts to strike Nemeia with Thorn Whip but misses, then transforms into a large, snorting boar. Bull charges the Tiefling Paladin with a howling strike, but misses in his fervor. Minions are up, starting with Nemeia. |
| #8salrantolMay 08, 2009 15:51:58 | |
| #9post_ironicMay 09, 2009 11:21:39 | Nemeia waits for Enoch to attack. Enoch quarries Bull, then a Divine Glow emanates from his holy symbol. He misses, but the cascade of radiance still buoys Nemeia's spirit. Nemeia then declares Bull her quarry, challenges him, and attacks with Shielding Smite. She misses. (Yeesh. I've yet to roll above a 10 for either team.) Eternal Glory is up, starting with Boar. |
| #10whitebaronMay 09, 2009 16:44:26 | Boar delays, Bull will act first. Bull sidesteps (shift) one to the right, then readies for boar to finish his action. Boar moves+charges with pounce, after which bull will try his readied encounter power (bloodletting) |
| #11post_ironicMay 10, 2009 8:47:28 | Boar pounces, but misses the well-armored paladin. Bull shifts and unleashes a devastating attack, strking the Tiefling powerfully, and bloodying her. Minions Nemeia takes 20 damage. She is bloodied. |
| #12whitebaronMay 10, 2009 10:11:09 | boar will try to pounce again, using an AP. please note the order of things: Bull acted first, shifted then readied, then Boar charged, then Bulls ready goes off, then Boar uses his AP, so the Initiative is still Bull, then Boar. (important should boar hit) |
| #13post_ironicMay 11, 2009 14:16:34 | Boar gores Nemeia, and the Tiefling falls. Minions Nemeia takes 8 damage. She is at 0. Your action |
| #14whitebaronMay 11, 2009 14:22:25 | can't take another AP, as it is Boars turn, and Bull just had a ready action - - Sal can go now and heal that pally back up *yawn* |
| #15salrantolMay 11, 2009 15:47:17 | Bareth`kul's Minions Enoch will *surprise* use Healing Word on Nemeia [minor], then use Lance of Faith on Bull [standard]. Nemeia will use Lay on Hands on herself [minor], use her Second Wind [standard], stand [move->minor], then Action Point for Enfeebling Strike on Bull. |
| #16post_ironicMay 11, 2009 16:16:42 | Enoch heals the Tiefling then blast Bull with a bolt of radiance. Nemeia heals herself, steels her resolve, and stands. She then quickly strikes at Bull, catching him in the thigh and bloodying the Minotaur. Nemeia is no longer bloodied and her quarry of Bull has ended, as has Enoch's. Minions Nemeia has healed up to 26 HP. |
| #17salrantolMay 11, 2009 16:22:22 | Don't forget that Bull was Enoch's quarry, too. |
| #18post_ironicMay 11, 2009 16:25:57 | Edited above. Bull is now bloodied. Otherwise the same. |
| #19whitebaronMay 11, 2009 16:37:16 | Bull will take second wind and shift one to the right. Boar will pounce again (with the +2 CA from last pounce) and then shift 1 to the right as well, giving Bull even some more cover. -- edit -- also, i believe all effects delivered by you end when you fall unconscious, thus bull should not be marked. |
| #20post_ironicMay 11, 2009 16:57:44 | Bull shifts away and regains his composure. He is no longer bloodied. Boar pounces again, striking Nemeia squarely. Glory Bull is up to 26. As for marked dropping after unconscious, you may be right, but I'm trying to make up for lost time. I imagine Nemeia will either re-mark or go for Boar anyway, so it might be moot. |
| #21salrantolMay 11, 2009 17:29:33 | |
| #22post_ironicMay 11, 2009 18:47:16 | Enoch moves and blasts Bull with a lance of faith, bloodying him. Nemeia strikes Bull with an enfeebling strike. Glory Bull has been hit for 21 points. He is at 5 HP. |
| #23post_ironicMay 11, 2009 20:03:56 | If necessary- I can finish this by tomorrow's deadline with tactics. PM them to me or simply sblock them in this thread. |
| #24salrantolMay 11, 2009 21:48:34 | Even if whitebaron is right about the unconsciousness thing, Nemeia had plenty of actions to use to challenge Bull again at this point, so the issue is moot (for now anyway). |
| #25whitebaronMay 12, 2009 7:14:39 | well, it would change something, as bull could have walked away and attacked enoch for the time being, as he can only be challenged this turn, not the one before. nevertheless, i have a suggestion to make @post_ironic: you should add and remove bonusses from the roller with + and - signs, as nemeias attack should read now: 1d20+7+2(lof)-2(cover) as for tactics: Show bull will use recuperating strike on nemeia (+2 ca, -2 cover) then shift 1 right. boar will pounce again against nemeia, then shift 1 right. recuperating strike and pounce all the way, till this fight is over. boar will use second wind if bloodied. and that's about all i got. attack should now prefer enoch unless i am still marked. never oppose his challenge. no further ap, no dailies. |
| #26post_ironicMay 12, 2009 10:34:35 | Even if whitebaron is right about the unconsciousness thing, Nemeia had plenty of actions to use to challenge Bull again at this point, so the issue is moot (for now anyway). This was my thinking, exactly. I almost included a section about this in an earlier sblock, but deemed it unnecessary. I just need tactics from Sal, and then I can finish this up today. |
| #27post_ironicMay 12, 2009 11:31:09 | Bull swings at Nemeia, but misses. He shifts right. Boar Pounces again, and misses while shifting right as well. |
| #28salrantolMay 12, 2009 15:43:27 | |
| #29whitebaronMay 13, 2009 15:18:13 | quick peek at the roller: i believe the round 6 pounce should hit. pounce gives CA if hit, and attacks reflex, so even if i got enfeebled (-2 averages out with CA) and my opponent has a +1 bonus from priests shield, this should hit nemeias Reflex of 14(+1) |
| #30post_ironicMay 13, 2009 15:22:32 | Round 4: Enoch shifts and uses Lance of Faith on Bull. He misses. Nemeia uses Radiant Delerium on Bull (CRIT!), striking him for 28 damage, reducing his AC, and dazing him. Of course, this is all moot, since the Minotaur only had 5 HP remaining. He keels over, dead. Round 5: Boar shifts and Pounces Nemeia. He hits for 9 dmg, reducing her to 8 hp. Enoch heals Nemeia for 16 hp, bringing her to 24. He moves into flank and delays. Nemeia marks Boar, then uses Infernal Wrath to Enfeebling strike Boar. She misses. Enoch uses Priests Shield (my call, no melee tactics for Enoch vs. Boar, only melee power available) on Boar. He hits for 8 damage, bringing the Dwarf to 22. Round 6: Boar Pounces Nemeia. He misses. Nemeia Enfeebling strikes Boar. She hits for 8 dmg, bloodying Boar, bringing him to 14. Enoch uses Priests Shield. He misses. Round 7: Boar second winds as a minor action, returning to 21 HP. He pounces Nemeia. He hits for 5 damage, reducing Nemeia to19. Nemeia enfeebling strikes Boar. She hits for 11, bloodying Boar again and reducing him to 10 HP. Enoch uses Priests Shield. He misses. Round 8: Boar pounces Nemeia. He hits for 9, bringing the Tiefling to 10 hp. Nemeia enfeebling strikes Boar. She hits for 5, bringing Boar to 5 HP. Enoch uses Priests Shield. He misses. Round 9: Boar pounces Nemeia and misses. Nemeia strikes Boar. She misses. Enoch strikes Boar. He misses. Round 10: Boar pounces Nemeia for 9, bringing her to 1. Nemeia strikes and misses. Enoch strikes Boar. He hits for 6, dropping Boar. |
| #31whitebaronMay 13, 2009 15:24:12 | see my above post for my only complaint. ![]() |
| #32post_ironicMay 13, 2009 15:25:17 | Rewards: Bareth'kul's Minions win and gain 2 VP. Nemeia used 4 healing surges and Radianct Delerium. Eternal Glory lost and gains 1 VP. Bull and Boar both used a healing surge. |
| #33whitebaronMay 13, 2009 15:28:14 | quick peek at the roller: *ahem* *bumpeteer* this might change bits around, as nemeia would drop and thus enoch would not be able to hit on his final round... |
| #34post_ironicMay 13, 2009 15:31:37 | Crap. I just saw your comment, WB. I think I thought Pounce hit AC that round, instead of Reflex. I rolled it as round 11, and he does 5 damage to Nemeia, meaning she has 19 HP at the end of round 6, 14 in round 7, 5 in round 8, and is dropped in round 10. Ultimately, this changes little, but I need to add a few more rounds. Edit incoming. |
| #35post_ironicMay 13, 2009 15:36:04 | Round 11 (12 in roller): Boar pounces Enoch, missing. Boar still has 5 HP from damage he did not actually receive in round 10. Enoch shifts and uses Lance of Faith on boar. He hits for 6, dropping the dwarf. Only thing different is that Nemeia drops and Enoch takes some damage. Sorry for the error, thanks for your patience. |
| #36whitebaronMay 13, 2009 15:37:30 | hmm, since sal is not here, and i really want to activate the team today again, i'll point out another mistake you did as well, and post how it corrects/changes stuff, to help you out. Once Bull is down, use Divine Challenge and Lance of Faith/Enfeebling Strike on Boar until victorious. round 6 -no change, lance would miss as well. round 7 - no change, enoch would hit without the lance bonus. round 8 - 14 is enough to hit reflex 12. all in all, i lose. ![]() |
| #37whitebaronMay 13, 2009 15:47:59 | thnx for the run. @sal: you won't get away that easily next time. ![]() |
| #38salrantolMay 13, 2009 15:51:11 | And here I was thinking--that'll teach you to hide behind the druid! |
| #39whitebaronMay 13, 2009 15:54:13 | ah, well, another mistake in rewards: Boar used the AP, not bull. |
| #40post_ironicMay 13, 2009 16:06:13 | corrected. yeesh, thats what i get trying to hurry. |
