News and Whatnot

At this point - I'm hoping everyone is accustomed to the new time change. I've had more than a few comments, both in PM and in regular posts, about the date of the pairings, date of the activations and such.

Basically, at this point, I have to cater to the majority - and by that I mean - most people are posting their activations according to the date that it is for them when the pairings occur. That means - people in Europe and such are posting as if pairings are on Thursday (which it is for them); people in the Americas are mostly posting as if pairings are on Wednesday (which again - it is for them).

This does mean I take on additional work making sure I have both Wednesday and Thursday dates covered - but I'd rather have that than worry about someone who is off of the pairings date by just one day. Since I'm all about making things easier for the players - I think this is good.

This does leave open the issue with the FotW threads - which always shows the Wednesday activation date - well always up until now. Going forward - it will show the Thursday activation date. I'm hoping this won't lead to additional confusion.

Anyway - we had 13 fights for 3.5e CoCo last week and 5 more for 4e CoCo, plus a miniquest. That's very good in my book. I also got a number of new character/reactivation requests and best of all - a couple more pitlords.

Lastly, for those who usually use the original Battle Map Tag Generator (at www.hwx.it) - you'll need to switch to use the one at dulsi's host because the former doesn't have the Small Arena that will be used for level 1 fights. For convenience sake, here is a direct link to the Small Arena

The Council Decisions/Revelations
  • Active Teams - you are allowed 2 active "units" between 3.5e CoCo and 4e CoCo
  • Rules sources - Updates are primary, Original text is secondary, everything else is for reference/clairification only
  • Elders - for now there is little need for additional elders. The current elders are MindWandererB, Erithmu. We also have Zevox for an additional voice.

Pairings
GM TelinArtho will pair the active Characters of Sagaris after the deadline. The Character Roster will be the second post of this thread.
Make sure that your character is not in [thread=1064195]prison[/thread].

Pitlording
You should use the CoCo Dice Roller for the fight.
If you need it, there is a nice [THREAD=551175]template[/THREAD] ready to use that will help.
You could find the Battle Map Tag Generator for dynamic Maps very useful. You must post a link to your fight in this thread when it is complete.
If you need a quick and dirty tool to calculate distances between two points (in 2-D or 3-D), this tool should suffice.

If a fight needs to be rerun, the Pitlord has to inform me (TelinArtho). I cannot react to requests from Players because the other player and the pitlord might disagree. I have little time to read the fight and the discussion. Please keep that in mind. PMs from players with rerun requests won't have an impact.
