| #1TelinArthoJul 21, 2009 14:25:19 | Please don't edit the sheet after the deadline or you will lose the match. Rules of Sagaris All that you need to know is written in the [post=18116720]Rules of Sagaris[/post]. It could be useful also to give a look to the [POST=16408482]Court Decisions[/POST] Pairings GM TelinArtho will pair the active Characters of Sagaris after the deadline. The Character Roster will be the second post of this thread. Make sure that your character is not in [thread=1064195]prison[/thread]. Pitlording You should use the CoCo Dice Roller for the fight. If you need it, there is a nice [THREAD=551175]template[/THREAD] ready to use that will help. You could find the Battle Map Tag Generator for dynamic Maps very useful. You must post a link to your fight in this thread when it is complete. If you need a quick and dirty tool to calculate distances between two points (in 2-D or 3-D), this tool should suffice. If a fight needs to be rerun, the Pitlord has to inform me (TelinArtho). I cannot react to requests from Players because the other player and the pitlord might disagree. I have little time to read the fight and the discussion. Please keep that in mind. PMs from players with rerun requests won't have an impact. Comments & Concerns Post any comments or concerns for this weeks fights in this thread. Be kind and courteous to your fellow posters, and don't feed the pitlords. Please remember that they do hard work and consume a lot of time to let you play. Above all, have FUN! If you have questions or comments on any of the changes, please make your posts be heard in the Council of Sagaris! Pitlords Active Pitlords 3.5E Pitlords[indent]

| #42XaviYagoJul 24, 2009 17:45:06 | another question: Yes. That one I debated myself, I even went to the 4e rules forums and asked there, and the answer I got back was what I thought: Prime Shot only mentions a closer ally; it says nothing about that ally's conditional state affecting the feature. So I treated the unconscious ally as a "closer ally" in regards to Prime Shot. |

| #44XaviYagoJul 24, 2009 18:18:02 | by that interpretation - even a dead ally would negate prime shot. I knew the implications of that +1. I've sent an inquiry into Customer Service, too. I didn't expect a quick answer from them, so I finished up the fight. But to answer the interpretation question: An ally that is past their "negative bloodied" value or failed three death saves is dead. They are no longer your ally. Negative hitpoints doesn't necessarily mean you're dead, it imposes the dying and unconscious conditions. As heroes, our PCs still have a chance to stave off the clutches of death. |

| #46XaviYagoJul 26, 2009 19:31:58 | i would appreciate an elder's opinion on this. The same situation just happened again in another fight, so I agree that a ruling should be made that we can all agree on. |

| #48XaviYagoJul 27, 2009 17:45:48 | Customer Service answer to Prime Shot question: Hello. The Prime Shot class feature for Rangers mentions "nearer allies". I have a few questions regarding the "nearer ally" aspect of this feature: 1) If one of my teammates is nearer to my target, but he is unconscious and dying, does he count as a "nearer ally"? 2) What if the teammate mentioned above was dead? (beyond "negative bloodied" value or else failed three death saves) 3) Do the answers for #1 or #2 above hold true for the Warlock Prime Shot class feature, page 131 PHB? Thank you for your response. ******************** Page Number: 104 Book Name: PHB Unfortunately, there aren't official answers to your questions. Whether an unconscious ally or dead ally still counts as an ally with prime shot is not covered. It does work the same with either warlocks or rangers, however. Whatever your Dungeon Master decides is fine by us. Thanks, and Good Gaming! We would appreciate your feedback on the service we are providing you. | #49yaouJul 27, 2009 18:34:51 | Is it possible to have more than 2 teams up on the roster without paying credits? If I've read the rules right, it is (so long as only 2 of them are fighting any given week, I.E., Active), but I just want confirmation or denial on this. |
| #50salrantolJul 27, 2009 18:51:39 | Re: Prime Shot: I would rule that an unconscious ally counts for purposes of Prime Shot, but a dead ally does not. |

You can have more than two teams, but only two active 4e teams or one active in each 3.5/4e. I don't believe there is anything stopping you from just posting teams. They'll never get added to the roster unless you PM the team to the GM. |
| #52LinkNJul 27, 2009 19:08:16 | Basically, you can have any number of teams on the roster, and any number of teams "ready to fight", so long as only two are "active". If you do have multiple teams though, I suggest PMing Telin about it, and posting a reminder in the FotW thread before pairings go up. |
| #53salrantolJul 27, 2009 22:52:32 | power & endurence vs the duelletes is done (i hope). With lonewolf out of town, could someone look over the fight and represent him? I don't want to just accept the fight as is without giving his team a fair shake. |

| #55MindWandererBJul 28, 2009 0:39:57 | Re: Prime Shot; I agree, unconscious allies count. However, it occurs to me that we need an official ruling about marking and unconsciousness. In my home games, I have ruled that if a marking character goes unconscious, the mark remains but has no effect. This is important for classes that have long-lasting marks, like the swordmage, which we don't have, but it's also relevant when you drop a defender and then attack the ally. CS is, as usual, completely useless. For future reference, we treat them as such here. Re: Untameables/T-Rex: There is one small error that changes nothing: the bonus dice of Shaman healing cannot be applied to the shaman herself, only to an ally. You take a -5 penalty to Stealth checks if you move more than 2 squares in an action. And I asked to use Healing Word, not Second Wind. However, I don't think an edit is necessary (though I'll have to conserve my healing surges tightly for the rest of the cycle). Re: Roster: Two active teams per week is the rule. I have 4 teams right now on the 4e roster, and 9 on the 3.5e roster, and never pay a credit for it. |
| #56TelinArthoJul 28, 2009 10:48:19 | Someone bring Prime Shot/Mark/Curse to the Courtroom. It needs to be discussed and ruled officially. Will be back later with an announcement. |
