| #2LinkNApr 23, 2009 15:29:03 | Sons You begin in the South block. |
| #3post_ironicApr 23, 2009 15:40:35 | Sons of the Hunt Romulus begins with his battle axes in each hand. Mephodyn begins with dagger and shield in hand. Also, please note that the Twins are [post=18403953]in prison[/post] as Billiam has not updated the Twins' character sheet for fight results. I have copied this from the results portion of our previous fight: Sons of the Hunt win and gain 2VP Mephodyn used 2 healing surges and 1 AP Tiefling Twins lose and gain 1VP Skoka used Dread Star, 1 AP, and 1 Healing Surge Neila used 1 Healing Surge |
| #4billiamApr 23, 2009 20:25:15 | Tiefling Twins Both twins will start in the far back centre. |
| #5LinkNApr 23, 2009 20:37:48 | Full initiative order will be posted after all characters move. Romulus is up first. Sons of the Hunt You see no one. |
| #6post_ironicApr 23, 2009 20:58:25 | Romulus If Romulus encounters an enemy after the first move, let me know. If not, continue movement as shown. Also, Romulus will be making stealth rolls if possible. |
| #7LinkNApr 23, 2009 21:08:13 | Skoka is up next, followed by Neila. Sons of the Hunt You think you're hiding pretty well. No enemy contact. |
| #8billiamApr 23, 2009 22:58:41 | skoka Skoka south 5, curse the Ranger if he sees him and wait on his standard action. |
| #9LinkNApr 24, 2009 0:17:20 | Tiefling Twins No enemy in sight. What action are you readying? |
| #10post_ironicApr 24, 2009 1:22:56 | Show Mephodyn moves up 5. If he sees anyone, he charges if possible. Barring that, he moves 5 more next to Romulus. Romulus' actions pending results of Mephodyn's turn. If Mephodyn sees nothing, move like so, stealthily: If an enemy is visible, quarry and charge if in range. Then Action Point for Jaws of the Wolf. If no enemy is visible or within charge range, make an active Perception check (minor) and ready a charge. |
| #11LinkNApr 24, 2009 9:08:26 | Sons of the Hunt |
| #12billiamApr 24, 2009 10:43:18 | tiefling twins Skoka moves east 6 squares curses, then eyebites (+5 vs will) Romulus. Neila will move east 6 squares and eyebite (+5 vs will) Romulus as well. |
| #13LinkNApr 24, 2009 12:29:55 | Skoka moves east, curses Romulus, and attempts to attack him with Eyebite, but misses +5-2=12. Neila does the same, and hits +5-2=22; damage ++5=9. She seems to vanish from Romulus's view. Mephodyn and Romulus are up. Sons of the Hunt Romulus is at 21/30 HP. Neila was one square east of Skoka when she vanished. |
| #14post_ironicApr 24, 2009 13:21:30 | Sons of the Hunt Mephodyn will use healing word on Romulus. He will then double move as shown, then Action Point for Lance of Faith on the green target, granting the bonus to Romulus. Romulus will move as shown, charging the green target. He will then pop an Action Point for Jaws of the Wolf. Just a note: I didnt see a second stealth roll for Romulus in the roller, which might have precluded me from being seen by the Twins. Let's roll with it for now, but just for future reference. |
| #15LinkNApr 24, 2009 13:46:29 | Sons of the Hunt I was under the impression that he wouldn't get another stealth roll since he didn't have superior cover against the Twins. I may be misunderstanding the stealth rules, however. If that is the case, though, I'm not exactly sure how I'd go back and re-do things... I rolled the stealth check, however, and you would have been hidden. Opinions on how I should re-do things? |
| #16post_ironicApr 24, 2009 13:49:07 | Like I said, lets just roll with it. I'm fine with continuing my tactics as above. Show Edit: if you can, add quarrying the green target to Romulus' tactics above. He should have th eminor action to do it. |
| #17LinkNApr 24, 2009 14:08:20 | Alright, disregard the above. Spectators Rules question for spectators, though: If a character has stealth, moves enough squares to need another stealth roll, and ends movement in a square with partial cover (but not full cover), does he still make a stealth roll? PM me the answer, please, don't post. |
| #18post_ironicApr 24, 2009 14:21:23 | Sons of the Hunt My bad on the Lance/Flame mix up. I've actually made this mistake before in another fight. One day I'll learn. Proceed as previously stated using Sacred Flame. Have Romulus charge to wherever he can after he quarries. |
| #19LinkNApr 24, 2009 14:45:24 | Mephodyn spends an action point to use Sacred Flame on Skoka. Skoka can't dodge the searing light +4=17; damage +4=5. Romulus moves forward, quarries and charges Skoka, but misses +6+1=11. Undeterred, he spends an action point to follow up with Jaws of the Wolf. Both of his axe swings hit their mark, and Skoka collapses, dead. +6=17, +6=18; damage +4=17, +4=19, quarry , total 41. Neila is up. |
| #20billiamApr 24, 2009 19:40:03 | neila Shift 1 north curse and Witchfire Romulus |
| #21LinkNApr 24, 2009 20:01:56 | Neila shifts north and attempts to hit Romulus with a Witchfire, but the attack goes wide +5=10. Mephodyn is up next, followed by Romulus. |
| #22post_ironicApr 25, 2009 12:53:19 | Sons of the Hunt Mephodyn will move as shown on the map to set up a flank on Neila. This will provoke an Opportunity Attack, which is fine. Once in position, he will strike with Righteous Brand, using his Divine Fortune ability, granting the hit bonus to Romulus. Afterward, Romulus will move to flank Neila and use Two-Fanged Strike. |
| #23LinkNApr 25, 2009 13:20:59 | Mephodyn slips around Neila's back and attempts to hit her with a Righteous Brand, but misses. +7=10 Romulus, seeing the opportunity, shifts to flank Neila, designates her as his quarry, and attacks her with a Two-fanged Strike. Both attacks hit, +6+2=17;+6+2=20; damage +4=13; +4=12; 3 bonus; quarry; 34 total and she goes down. Results: The Sons of the Hunt win, and gain 2 VP. Romulus spent an action point and used Jaws of the Wolf. Mephodyn spent an action point. The Tiefling Twins lose, and gain 1 VP. Rolls can be found here. |
