| #2LinkNMay 21, 2009 14:02:55 | Duelettes You begin in the Northwest box. |
| #3salrantolMay 21, 2009 14:48:24 | |
| #4whitebaronMay 21, 2009 14:49:32 | Show start as shown, with longbow and handcrossbow in hands. move as shown in round 1, and start readying on sight of an opponent. (B: sly flourish, M: twin strike) of course, should contact be made - stop and waith for further orders. |
| #5LinkNMay 21, 2009 15:46:11 | Briza moves, hides, and readies a Sly Flourish. She doesn't wait long, as Vratta comes out from around a nearby corner. She takes aim and fires a crossbow bolt at him, and it hits solidly in his chest Critical! Vratta is bloodied. |
| #6whitebaronMay 21, 2009 18:08:50 | change of plans actually - none. masoj moves as was specified. ![]() but if he sees someone, shoot right away, with two fanged strike if no cover or twin strike else. AP and shoot again (thundertusk if no cover, or twin strike if cover) |
| #7salrantolMay 21, 2009 22:52:32 | |
| #8LinkNMay 21, 2009 23:17:41 | Vratta turns to move towards Brizza, but stops to steel herself against the coming attacks and to recover from the severe wound Second Wind, Unstoppable. Duelettes Vratta is at 14 HP and 6 temp HP. Position is as you requested. |
| #9whitebaronMay 22, 2009 0:56:37 | |
| #10LinkNMay 22, 2009 1:27:11 | Masoj moves from his starting box and also finds his way to Vratta. He marks her as his quarry and fires off a quick Twin Strike. Both arrows hit, and Vratta goes down. Waiting on confirmation from whitebaron, then Chirakka is up. Duelettes Vratta takes 12, 3, and 6 damage, and is at -1 HP. |
| #11salrantolMay 22, 2009 5:36:04 | Wow, your dice are really getting their revenge.Brizza |
| #12whitebaronMay 22, 2009 5:47:54 | Show no, no actions. i'm fine that way. ![]() |
| #13LinkNMay 22, 2009 10:08:42 | Chirakka walks by Vratta, casts a heal spell on him, then walks up to Brizza, ready for a fight. Duelettes Vratta regains 11 HP, but is still prone. |
| #14whitebaronMay 22, 2009 10:33:09 | i assume new initiative order is brizza, vratta, masoj, chirakka? + is it my turn already? |
| #15LinkNMay 22, 2009 13:27:43 | Yes, on both counts. Brizza is up. |
| #16whitebaronMay 22, 2009 13:52:03 | brizza draw her dagger (free), use cloud of darkness(minor) and then trickster's blade (std). move and then, she stays where she is, well, not really - move 1E, make obvious noise, move 1W again and try to stealth on that part. - trying to provke OAs here. |
| #17LinkNMay 22, 2009 14:31:41 | Drow So, you want to hide inside the cloud but stay in the same location, right? That's doable; the opportunity attacks, however, are not (you need to be able to see your opponent in order to take an opportunity attack). |
| #18whitebaronMay 22, 2009 14:34:21 | misunderstanding no, you misunderstood => moving in the cloud producing noise is making my opponent believe i'm not there anymore. basically, i'm moving away with fleeting ghost but make some noise (free), then move the rest backwards trying to be stealthily. ![]() that way, sal believe i'm not there anymore, and might just move, thus provoking an attack. |
| #19salrantolMay 22, 2009 14:44:04 | |
| #20LinkNMay 23, 2009 9:13:35 | Vratta, not wanting to head into the unknown darkness, stands up and heads towards Masoj and hits him with a Comeback Strike. Masoj is bloodied. The power of the Comeback Strike aids Vratta and she is no longer bloodied. Duelettes Vratta regains 10 HP and is at 21/40. No sight of Brizza. |
| #21whitebaronMay 23, 2009 17:05:39 | masoj cloud of darkness, again. ![]() two fanged strike, followed by AP thundertusk boar strike. (if he's still standing, move 1 right stealthily.) if he dropped from twofanged, use the AP for CDG with twin strike. |
| #22LinkNMay 24, 2009 17:35:58 | Sorry about the delay, busy with gameday stuff and then worked early this morning. Masoj summons a cloud of magical darkness, blinding Vratta. He quickly fires off a pair of arrows at her, knowing that she won't be able to take advantage of his lack of defense Two-fanged Strike. Both arrows hit, and Vratta drops once again. Not wanting to leave a job unfinished, Masoj fires off another two arrows into her unconscious form. One is deflected by her armor, but the other hits solidly, and Vratta is slain. Duelettes Vratta takes... a lot of damage. She's dead, I'm not gonna break out my calculator for this one. |
| #23whitebaronMay 24, 2009 17:44:24 | just one rules clarification (not that it changes anything): if you are dying, you're helpless (grant CA) as well as unconscious (-5 penalty to all defenses), thus it is pretty impossible to not hit - masojs second arrow on the cdg hit easily. |
| #24LinkNMay 24, 2009 17:53:41 | Noted, didn't see the defense penalty to helpless before. And just for the sake of overkill: Vratta is at -55 HP at the end of all this. Sadly, on one of my fights, I managed to miss on a CDG thanks to Sal's dice hating me... I think my dice are getting their revenge this week ![]() |
| #25salrantolMay 24, 2009 20:28:20 | |
| #26LinkNMay 24, 2009 20:46:08 | Chirakka shifts out of the cloud and continues around a corner, trying to hide. |
| #27whitebaronMay 25, 2009 4:12:57 | |
| #28LinkNMay 25, 2009 11:59:41 | Brizza and Masoj try to move up on Chirakka, firing off attacks at the dragonborn King's Castle, Thundertusk Boar Strike. However, only Brizza's dagger manages to hit. Chirakka is bloodied. Duelettes Chirakka takes 20 damage and is at 2 HP. |
| #29whitebaronMay 25, 2009 12:02:23 | - brizza has CA, right? i believe her attack bonus should be thus +10+2(CA), and so hit reflex 15? |
| #30LinkNMay 25, 2009 12:16:32 | Ah, didn't notice that it targets reflex. (Also thought that Chirakka had cover, for some reason.) Updating now. |
| #31salrantolMay 25, 2009 12:18:03 | |
| #32LinkNMay 25, 2009 12:26:42 | Duelettes Masoj is out of range of Warlord's Favor with that positioning. Would you like to move somewhere else, or target Brizza with the attack instead? |
| #33salrantolMay 25, 2009 20:16:15 | Duelettes Maybe you want to look at Chirakka's weapon of choice again and rethink your last comment. But since you were updating while I posted my tactics, and the changes changed my tactics, I'll take this opportunity to change them to shift as posted previously [move], Warlord's Favor on Masoj [standard] (note +1 for being a bloodied dragonblooded), Inspiring Word on self [minor]. |
| #34LinkNMay 25, 2009 20:48:30 | Duelettes Hey look, a reach weapon... |
| #35salrantolMay 25, 2009 20:53:38 | Chirakka d20: 3 rolls, 4.7 average So far, still looks like you're getting your revenge. |
| #36whitebaronMay 26, 2009 5:40:13 | Unbalancing Parry! Romulus slides Chirakka 1 S. Brizza act first and use Piercing Strike, then shift 1 E Masoj shift 1E, then use Twin Strike. |
| #37LinkNMay 26, 2009 11:43:48 | Masoj takes advantage of Chirakka's miss to unbalance her. Brizza attacks and pierces through Chirakka's armor, but Masoj is unable to hit the dragonborn with his arrows. Duelettes Chirakka takes 9 damage and is at 4 HP. |
| #38salrantolMay 26, 2009 12:55:46 | Chirakka Second Wind [standard], Dragon Breath to hit both of them [minor], shift 1E [move]. Remember to undelete your Dragon Breath roll ![]() |
| #39LinkNMay 26, 2009 13:15:14 | Chirakka uses her Second Wind, then steps forward and breathes lightning over the drow. Both are hit. Drow Brizza and Masoj take 4 damage each. Brizza is at 32 HP, Masoj is at 15. |
| #40whitebaronMay 26, 2009 14:32:21 | brizza moves to 1w of the dragonborn, readying to attack with piercing strike once masoj is in flanking position. (yes, take oa, remember+3 to AC against OAs due to artful dodger) masoj shifts 1 north into flanking, and takes second wind, too. (draw sword for better oa should he move away) |
| #41LinkNMay 26, 2009 16:28:06 | Sorry, just realized I forgot to toss up a map. Looks like it wasn't needed too badly, though. Brizza moves around Chirakka, but leaves herself open to do so. Chirakka takes the opportunity to slash at Brizza, and Brizza is bloodied. Masoj shifts north to keep Chirakka occupied, and Brizza stabs Chirakka in the back. Chirakka goes down, and the Drow Hunting Party win the match. Results up soon. |
| #42LinkNMay 26, 2009 16:30:04 | Results: The Drow Hunting Party wins, and gains 2 VP. Masoj spent an action point. The Duelettes lose, and gain 1 VP. Chirakka spent 2 healing surges. Vratta spent 2 healing surges and used Unstoppable and Comeback Strike. ---------- There, I think I tallied up everything that was used. If I missed something, let me know. |
| #43whitebaronMay 26, 2009 16:39:03 | Vratta used Comeback Strike. not sure on the surges, but should be about right. |
