#1 zevox Feb 18, 2009 20:49:16	This is a separate thread fight for the infamous Denthian Priest Kraegin to face off with the Renowned Elan Psion Darian Thorne. They are to face off in a cavern. Only TelinArtho, lonewolf, and myself may post here. Rolls. [post=17903484]Fights thread post[/post]. Result Darian Thorne is the winner! He gains 5,616 xp and 15,288 gp (+25% ally, +31% Political Career). Kraegin loses, but still gains 900 xp and 2,450 gp (-25% ally). Darian Time Between Fights: 6 hrs Prebuffs/Ongoing Effects: Share Pain (< 5 hours) Items Used: None. Spells or Powerpoints Used: 46 pp. x/day Abilities Used: None. Free Activity: Craft (Weaving) for 535 gp. Kraegin Nothing used matters - fight 3, no expendables. Free Activity: Guard.

Frankly he's probably best off blitzing me, but if he doesn't he's going to have a big ole' mess on his hands. Start in the back corner (2,29) of my starting area with my Rod of Repeat spell in hand. Shadowsmoke should be at the front corner (6,25) During buffing - Shadowsmoke is to smoke up the front of the starting area to make it impossible for Darian to see within without putting himself into the smoke. If a construct comes to attack, Shadowsmoke will engage as needed. Okay - "buffing": Round 1: SM VI for a chain devil, use the rod to repeat it. The chain devils should move to the sides of the starting area, next to a statue (for example -9,26 and 5,22) Round 2: Invisibility Purge (this has a 60ft radius - so it will help spot Darian before he comes into the area. Round 3: SM VI for a chain devil, use the rod to repeat it (drop the rod). Round 4: SM VI for another chain devil. Okay - now we move out - Kraegin will just be trying to expose Darian for the others to swarm him. If a construct gets in the way - they will slaughter it with a huge number of chain attacks. Once Darian is found though - he is their target. While moving out, Kraegin is readying to cast psychic turmoil on sight (I'll specify the location when I know where he is).
