News and Whatnot

Welcome to the newly restored Core Coliseum. Not a lot has changed around here yet - though management is a bit different.

The important thing right now is that pairings will happen this coming Wednesday - so if you have a build you are dying to try out - get it into the character thread ASAP. If you are an old-timer (or relatively new-timer) coming back (for the first time) - please get a character active and out there.

For now I, TelinArtho, will be running pairings - so if you want to add a character to the roster - PM me. If you want to offer pitlording/questlording services - send me a PM.

Important changes from the "norm" - Character Roster for a given week will be provided in the second post of the FotW thread; pairings will be in the 3rd post. MWB will update the Character Roster in the Character's thread as time permits and when I send him updates.

Discussion about 4e CoCo is still ongoing - all topics concerning that should be brought by Huan.

Idle Conversations

These are topics that have died down but had nothing come of them. We may reinvest time into them should they continue to be an issue.
  • Council - Mechanics of the "Awaken" spell is currently being discussed in the council.
  • Council- Delay rules are still being discussed.
  • Courtroom - Sauro wishes an elder decision on using an intelligent cohort as a mount. [and what tricks/training it requires]
  • Council - There is a discussion on how quickly you should be able to aquire ethereal equipment.
  • Courtroom- The rules for Ride and Handle Animal are under discussion.

It looks fine to me except for one thing: the initial Vigor that Petr used from his power stone should give him 10 hp, not 5. The only difference it should make is one or two Magic Missiles, I think.

Also, I'm not sure why he doesn't renew his Vigor in round 7.

Heh - real life happens. Send me the tactics - I'll give Dr Funk a call and light a fire under him.

EDIT - oh wait I'm his opponent.

Actually we'll just repair next week and see if we get the same matchup. Dr. Funk doesn't deserve a loss there unless I actually hand it to him - S'lertak is not that formidable of an opponent to the druid...

Then I won't post the fight/surrender. (I have inet up at the lodge, but I won't be doing 'activities' other than keeping in touch w/ people.)

@Yitzi - thanks for the run.

It looks to me that you are missing the Ride checks for using my mount for cover. It only matters for the attack in round 3 (which would hit if I fail), which I suppose only makes a difference if he's able to deal enough damage to take me down in one hit.

Adjusted. You fail the check, only difference is that Jheryl uses 1 more arrow.
