| #3salrantolJul 16, 2009 15:56:13 | Forces of Nature Gunnga is holding his magic longsword +1 and his heavy shield. Salrantol is holding his magic longsword +1 in his main hand and his light shield and his magic wand +1 in his off-hand. If no contact: Gunnga will use Form of the Fearsome Ram [minor], walk as shown [move], and ready using the encounter power granted by Form of the Fearsome Ram on Serobath when Serobath comes within 8 squares of him. Salrantol will double walk as shown. |

| #15arealcoolcatJul 17, 2009 5:20:29 | Commentary wtf? 2 attacks and 2 crits?? His luck is inhuman. His dice rolls last match were very extreme as well. Only that time it was the other way around! |
| #16salrantolJul 17, 2009 5:36:26 | Defenders of the Faith You appear to have missed the 4 temporary hit points that Gunnga should have gained from Improved Majestic Word, which puts him at 22 HP, barely bloodied. Gunnga will take his Second Wind, gaining 11 HP, +2 to all defenses, and an additional +3 to AC. |
| #17arealcoolcatJul 17, 2009 5:44:35 | Gunnga takes his second wind and is no longer bloodied. |
| #18lonewolfJul 17, 2009 5:50:23 | You missed Serobaths shift before. Also, is Serobath marked? |
| #19arealcoolcatJul 17, 2009 5:59:01 | both Edited mapping error for last turn. Serobath shifted east. Serobath is not marked. |
| #20lonewolfJul 17, 2009 6:03:10 | |
| #21salrantolJul 17, 2009 6:03:46 | Serobath is not marked. Bah, only because I forgot to say so. :headexplo For future reference, if possible, and I don't give indications to the contrary, Gunnga will mark all adjacent foes at some point. If he doesn't move, that point should be easy to figure out. |
| #22arealcoolcatJul 17, 2009 6:17:22 | Wrogan moves and hits Salrantol with Healing Strike. Salrantol is now bloodied. |
| #23lonewolfJul 17, 2009 6:23:08 | addon because Healing strike has the [Healing] keyword, Serobath gains additional 4hp from Wrogans Healers Lore. |
| #24arealcoolcatJul 17, 2009 6:33:41 | lonewolf because Healing strike has the [Healing] keyword, Serobath gains additional 4hp from Wrogans Healers Lore. Adjusted the amount healed. You might want to include that in the power's description. |
| #25salrantolJul 17, 2009 13:40:28 | |
| #26arealcoolcatJul 17, 2009 14:02:02 | Salrantol shifts south, takes his second wind, uses majestic word on Gunnga, and shifts him east. Salrantol is no longer bloodied. |

| #30arealcoolcatJul 17, 2009 22:38:17 | Both Sorry for the delay in my response. Was having issues logging in earlier and forgot about this fight for a bit. All apologies! |
| #31lonewolfJul 18, 2009 22:02:30 | |
| #32arealcoolcatJul 18, 2009 22:30:32 | Wrogan is hit by Salrantol's opportunity attack as he moves into flanking against Gunnga and hits Gunnga with Righteous Brand. |
| #33salrantolJul 19, 2009 7:53:50 | Forces of Nature Salrantol will shift 1E [move], use Blunder on Serobath, sliding him as shown, and granting Gunnga an attack while Serobath is flanked [standard]. If Gunnga hits with the basic melee attack (which is an at-will power), he will push Serobath and Salrantol will complete the slide as shown: If Salrantol misses with the Blunder, or if he hits *and* Gunnga hits on the melee basic attack, Salrantol will use an action point to use Impelling Force on Serobath, sliding him as shown: or |

| #39salrantolJul 19, 2009 23:35:56 | @arealcoolcat You appear to have missed the 4 points of healing from Stirring Shout. Also, is Serobath bloodied yet? |
| #40arealcoolcatJul 19, 2009 23:46:54 | @Salrantol Thanks for asking. I had in my notes that he was bloodied but it didn't make it into the post. Also, corrected the healing from Stirring Shout. |
| #41lonewolfJul 20, 2009 5:20:18 | action Wrogan attacks Gunnga with Lance of Faith. |
| #42salrantolJul 20, 2009 5:37:12 | @arealcoolcat again OK, given the corrections, since Gunnga *just* bloodied Serobath, he gains 4 temporary hit points from Salrantol's Virtue of Valor, which will override the 3 he gained from Strength of Stone. |
| #43arealcoolcatJul 20, 2009 16:10:29 | Wrogan hits Gunnga with Lance of Faith, bloodying him. |

| #49arealcoolcatJul 21, 2009 12:06:38 | Gunnga moves, marks Serobath, and hits with Wildblood Frenzy, hitting once. |
| #50lonewolfJul 21, 2009 12:21:33 | Wrogan moves into flanking position and attacks Gunnga with Rigtheous Brand |
| #51arealcoolcatJul 21, 2009 13:22:25 | Wrogan moves and misses Gunnga with Righteous Brand. |
| #52salrantolJul 21, 2009 15:30:38 | |
| #53arealcoolcatJul 21, 2009 16:30:04 | Salrantol shifts north and misses Serobath with War Song Strike. |
| #54lonewolfJul 21, 2009 17:04:38 | actions & tactics Serobath attacks Gunnga with Overwhelming strike(shifting 1N on a hit) and shifts 1N afterwards if he hits. Continue with Overwhelming Strikes & Righteous Brand on Gunnga until he is down. If Wrogan cannot get into a flanking position, he will use Lance of Faith instead. If Gunnga goes down, use Oath of enmity on Salrantol and continue to attack him. Against Salrantol, Wrogan will always use Righteous Brand. Wrogan uses Longtooth shifting as soon as he is bloodied and healing word on self at the next possible moment(most likely in the same round). |
| #55arealcoolcatJul 21, 2009 23:00:26 | Serobath hits Gunnga with Overwhelming Strike, shifting north, and shifts north. |
| #56salrantolJul 21, 2009 23:18:22 | Forces of Nature Gunnga will walk as shown [move], mark Serobath [free], and use Warrior's Surge on Serobath [standard]. Future Tactics: If Serobath keeps doing his Overwhelming Strike-shift thing, I'll have Gunnga prevent it by using at-will powers to push him (preferably to the wall so he can move past him) so he has to move in to attack with Oath benefits. Specifically, a melee basic attack if Salrantol has hit with War Song Strike since Gunnga's last turn; Strength of Stone if not. If Gunnga can get him against the wall, he will try to move around him to flank as possible on later turns. Salrantol will just keep using War Song Strike in melee on Serobath. If possible without provoking OAs, move to flank with Gunnga. Once Serobath is down: Gunnga will coup de grace him with the appropriate at-will attack. Then Gunnga will use the same at-will as listed above. Salrantol will keep using War Song Strike while Gunnga stands. Should Gunnga fall: Salrantol will try to stay at range and use Hellish Rebuke and Dire Radiance to penalize foes for attacking him. After that, switch to Misdirected Mark. Use War Song Strike if unable to move to ranged without provoking OAs. DO NOT PROVOKE OAs. MARK WITH GUNNGA EACH ROUND. |
| #57arealcoolcatJul 22, 2009 5:05:01 | Gunnga moves, marks Serobath, and misses with Warrior's Surge. Wrogan hits Gunnga with Lance of Faith, downing him. Salrantol critically hits Serobath with Dire Radiance, downing him. |
| #58lonewolfJul 22, 2009 5:11:00 | close one *g* thanks for running! |
| #59arealcoolcatJul 22, 2009 5:15:58 | Results Defenders of the Faith win and gain 2 VP. Serobath used Aspect of Might and two healing surges. Wrogan spent an action point and one healing surge. Forces of Nature lose and gain 1 VP. Gunnga used Form of the Fearsome Ram and three healing surges. Salrantol used Stirring Shout and an action point. @lonewolf: Your fortune and tactics paid off in the latter half. I thought you were nuts not healing Serobath for so long, but I was rash. @Salrantol: Your luck is mighty spotty. You crit a bunch, then miss all the crucial healing attacks it seems, then pop right back up from death. I really admire the synergy in your team and hope your luck mellows out. @both: It was a blast running this. Hope to see (or run!) a rematch someday! |
| #60lonewolfJul 22, 2009 5:48:01 | The reason why I didnt heal Serobath wasnt because I thought it was a good idea for this fight, but I really wanted him to have 2 healing surges left for his last fight in the cycle... |
| #61arealcoolcatJul 22, 2009 5:51:35 | Ah, well, either way it worked out in the end. Thought you were just gambling on Wrogan outlasting the others and ditching Gunnga's free HP punching bag AKA Serobath. I always accept happy coincidence as part of my brilliant scheming tactics. (:< |
| #62salrantolJul 22, 2009 7:17:02 | Looks like you got the critical hit at the critical juncture, lonewolf. Good match. I look forward to the rematch once Gunnga's spike damage goes up a bit. |
