Jun 05, 2008 15:43:41		So, at a guess maybe 1 in 20 members of this board will remember me but suffice it to say I think I was maybe the 6th or 7th poster in the original 3.5 Core Coliseum. That is, the first thread from what we old timers used to call the Min/Max boards that in time spawned this whole subforum. This was ohhh 2002? About 1 month after the 3.5 books came out. For a few years after that I ran some memorable characters and fights and helped plan the development of the CoCo up until I left around '06.

That is to say, I'm old and I like to think I might still be important .

I had a lot of fun with the CoCo in those days, and I found it an immensely useful means of understanding how characters changed in 3.5, along with the rules, and the feeling of what DnD was then.

So times changed, graduated, I was playing in real life not at all and my interest in the game waned. Ces't la vie. But times well they are changing again .

I've not had the time now to do more than a cursory examination of the current state of the CoCo. Right now I'm interested in what are the plans for 4th ed, when matches will be starting up, and how I might get involved again. I've got some idears of my own for the first part but I gotta finish some work first so I'll jot those down in a bit. Happy gaming!

Anyway - looking over your past characters, it looks like you last were active in February of 2005 and I first came in around June of 2005 - so it is no wonder that you wouldn't know me.

We're gearing up for 4th edition obviously - and we are always happy to have more playtesters (either with the available pregenerated characters that are around or your own characters made with whatever resources you can come up with).

Post in the [thread=946596]playtesting[/thread] thread for getting into a playtest fight or if you want to try your hand at pitlording one.

Other than that - we are discussing things we need to discuss in the [thread=1002815]4th edition thread[/thread].

If you are still interested in running any 3.5 characters - we are still running ECL3-5 each week and the higher ECLs on a challenge basis only. This week in particular we are taking a break though.
