#1 DooHickey Feb 03, 2010 13:05:33	Have they said why they abondoned the new 4E campaign DM and Player Guide separation?  Why did they decide to put the player and DM content back into one book? Sorry if this has already been covered, I couldn't find it. Thanks
#2 Raddu76 Feb 03, 2010 14:28:55	I don't remember where I read it, but basically feedback from the other Players Guide to XXX showed that people wanted more setting material included in those books so they decided to roll the DM and Players guide into one Campaign Guide.  Along with the fact that one of the cool aspects of Dark Sun is that there are not many "regular" animals and there are many unique Athasian creature that deserve to be updated for 4e for the DS Monster Manual.

Thanks I believe it was probably a matter of there being a larger number of unique Athasian creatures, while not quite so diverse player options (I'm guessing a lot of the PHB3 and Psionic Power will contain much of what Dark Sun needs), resulted in the shift to combining the DMG and PHB components together while segregating the MM ones for Dark Sun.
