| #1DwarvenGmJun 29, 2015 10:05:45 | Hello everyone, I'm new to dark sun, planning on running my first game in the setting soon. The setting really looks awesome so I'm excited to give it a shot. As I was looking over the setting an idea came to me and I was looking for some feed back. The warlocks great old one pact mentions old, long forgotten gods.... and all the gods of dark sun are all long forgotten. So I was thinking of making a new pact that signified an old athean god attempting to regain a foot hold in the world. I would grant healing spells like cure wounds and bless as their pact spells. Also I would do something like.... At 1st level when you reduce a creature to 0hit points target ally within 30gains temporary hit points equal to your charisma modifier + your warlock level At 6th level when an ally is hit you make the attacker roll again and use the lowest roll. Once you use this you must complete a short or long rest before using it again. At 10th level you gain resistance to me necrotic damage (this one may be too weak) At 14th level you can cast greater restoration on any creatures within 30ft of you. You must complete a long rest before you can use this again. Please give me some feedback both mechanically and fluff wise. I'm not sure if this messes up the feel of the setting. |
