| #1argothosMay 30, 2010 14:53:00 | Just curious if the "vampiric heritage" bloodline feat (in dragon mag annual 09) will be runnable in Darksun? |
| #2mouthymercMay 30, 2010 15:28:27 | Maybe not specifically defined as a vampiric heritage, but I see no reason it could not work. There are many unique forms of undead in the Dark Sun setting, so being a decendent could certainly work. You may have to change up the fluff to make it more in line with the setting, though. |
| #3TsuulMay 31, 2010 12:03:17 | Just to repeat what I posted in your multipost in the general boards. Dragon magazine 173 has an article "The dark undead of Athas, the AD&D dark sun world: A letter from the Wanderer" By Troy Denning. Also Terrors of the Dead Lands put out by Athas.org (3rd edition) |

With that stuff you could make a vampire out of any undead. |
| #6ZardnaarJun 02, 2010 20:04:04 | Technically no but in 3rd ed I had plans of including one who was unique and lived in a pyramid buried by sand. |
| #7RalofTyrJun 03, 2010 0:08:01 | I've ran Dark Sun to Old World of Darkness though... There were no vampires; it was a Mage game. |
| #8big_goonJun 03, 2010 10:20:42 | No Vampires, but did you use WoD werewolves, geists, wraiths, etc...? What about Exalted, were the SKs Exalted? How did you deal with defiling with a Mage? Whenever they used magick, an area of the land turns to ash based on the power strength? |
| #9flipJun 03, 2010 11:29:44 | There was also the ... um, Thrax, think it was. DSMC1, they were undead who drained your water from you. |
| #10flipJun 03, 2010 14:52:23 | The guys with the giant hands? They weren't undead. Yeah, think that's them. Running off memory, didn't realize they weren't undead. Still, I'd guess there's a lot to do with what you consider important to the concept of "vampire" ... |
| #11PennarinJun 03, 2010 15:14:29 | The thrax looked a lot like, and acted similarly to, the alien creature that sucked salt from the red shirts of the Enterprise in the original Star Trek. The apple didn't fall far for that monster. |
