| #5GrummoreMay 08, 2008 9:23:15 | Sounds like the two Dwarven villages of Ledopolus (north and south) with a bridge under construction. |
| #6Band2May 08, 2008 11:17:30 | Another great looking picture. Thanks for posting it.I tired getting moons better, for osme odd reason , though Ral is white-ish, it shows up very drark. Must be some atmospheric conditions blotting it out. ;) |

| #10dunselMay 09, 2008 10:44:07 | Incredible! I wish I could create like that. |
| #11dunselMay 09, 2008 10:58:08 | Is this a particular location? I was thinking of Ledopoulus region with what looks like a bridge. |
| #12Silverblade_The_EnchanterMay 09, 2008 11:29:30 | Than you! ![]() Well it' snot meant to be anywhere specific, just evocative of DS, so, you can imagine it where you please! ;) Hey, you CAN create like that, just takes time ot learn. I got into such art, 10years ago on the Interplay forums for Baldurs gate game, pal posted early Bryce artwork, and my jaw hit the floor...so I got into it ;) Grabbing dinner, will post in bit, explaing how to learn/get into this stuff. Its not rocket science and much easier than traditional art, IMHO. But time and patience are still needed. EDIT *back from dinner* :p http://www.silverblades-suitcase.com/tutorials/htm/19.html that's my tutorial on "An introduction to digital art". I'd recommend getting the Personal Learning Edition of Vue, that's my fave app, but everyone has their own faves. There's a full, free, legit version of bryce from Download.com (version 5.5 iirc) as an alternate. Another, similar app is Carrara. The pic I made, here, I used MOJOWORLD to make. very peculiar app. It makes entire worlds, and you can walk around or randomly jump around ot find a nice render spot. I have the Pro version, so I added the wyvvern, bridge and tower as imports from Poser (also own Poser and bought lots of content for it) mojoworld3 Viewer (renderer) free here at bottom of page http://www.pandromeda.com/downloads/ probably need to register iirc. There's many "worlds" you can load into the Viewer, you can download from the net. I used a version of "Copperwine Continents" by Armand Auseklis, tweaked with different atmospheres sun etc to get "Athas-like". So, Mojoworld is less like my normal work in Vue, where I build the scene backdrop, isntead I roam around a world to find a bit I like the look of, tweak away to get it better, maybe add things. ![]() |

| #15Silverblade_The_EnchanterMay 11, 2008 10:46:39 | Dunsel, my pleasure, sent me a PM or email if need help leanring more, but you'll have to do the hard work of learning though, hehe. Sysane, *bows* Hope to make more, but mostly do Spelljammer stuff.Think I'll need ot buy GeoControl to help make some of the Athasian landscapes I think of, hm. |
