Feb 18, 2011 23:16:44 I was at DDXP in Jan and was able to play in both Ashes of Athas and the Battle Interactive. I enjoyed myself immensely for both days. I can endorse both events.

Myth Drannor has a reason to be afraid of what is in the basement .
Living under the Dark Sun is censored tough.

Apr 08, 2011 15:18:59 I ran a slot 0 for George and his crew early this week. If these guys are half as fun when DMing as they are when playing everyone is in for a fantastic time!

George is a great host and I am sure Comicpalooza will be a huge slice of awesome. I can't recommend going to this Houston convention enough! Chris Sims (one of our admins and a terrific gamer/author/editor) will be there.

For the big cities of Dallas, Austin, San Antonio...for College Station, Waco, every college town... for ALL the neighboring states... we wanted you all to have a Con as big, or bigger, than Origins or Gencon. We got the space, the vision, the guests... we have some special events... we have a ton of other pop culture, not in any way a "mere" comics convention nor a college campus gaming con.

Get to Texas in May!

If you miss Ashes of Athas while it's so close, you'll regret it. Poor Teos, I interrupted again and again, but it was because I was amazed at the ideas and energy of this new Living campaign. Chris Sims, Chris Perkins, with Ari Marmell in the same place, in Houston! Don't regret it. Get to Houston. Our con is not expensive and prereg passes are still on sale!
