#1 Band2 Aug 18, 2008 12:36:03	Anyone else having trouble getting to athas.org? I am being taken to a website that says the domain athas.org expired, everytime I try it today.

#3 Brom_Blackforge Aug 18, 2008 14:34:20	I know that Birthright.net had a problem with this a while ago - people had come and gone since the site went up, and so there were unforeseen difficulties - IIRC, the people running it now didn't get notified that the domain was about to expire, so it came as a surprise to them when it did. They got it straightened out pretty quickly. Maybe the same kind of thing has happened with Athas.org.

#15 krosszer0 Aug 20, 2008 11:40:27	Whenever I try to go to the site i get a message that says: We're sorry, but something went wrong. We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly. It started happening immediately after I registered for the arena, which happened to be just hours before the site went down so I assumed it was related to that. But if the site is up now, and its still happening...anyone have any idea what's going on?

#18 flip Aug 21, 2008 14:08:36	So ... yeah. I failed my bureaucracy check. Yes, athas.org's domain expired, without warning (to me) ... I tried to fix too many things at once, and it took a bit of extra time to find out that Network Solutions doesn't let you do a thing with a domain once it's expired. No transfers, no nothing. So, we're renewed. I'll be moving the registration away from netsol (and yes, off the original technical contact's account) shortly. Hopefully, _that_ won't account for another three day outage. Where's the emoticon for taking a drill bit to your head?
