Something clearly more Aztec/Mayan would be nice... even Incan would be sweet. A point about the lions: are there lions on athas? I always assumed that lions were extinct, and that the memories of lions would have to originate from Hamanu's creativity. Thus, it doesn't seem absurd that the haraldry would contain other items from Hamanu's past like golden crowns and halbards. I thought the cartoon lion was a joke...
